  1. regardless of skill, I believe monthos is trying to make the point that you should never ask a player to swith without doing an even swap... ask one of your team to switch with her... There really is no reason to pull someone from one team to the other and leave the teams uneven, when they were even to start with. Even if skill level isn't a factor here (Hives said it first *smile*)... she is an additional body on the team which in this game does give an advantage... MEAT SHIELD FTW!! 8)
  2. I actually had to copy and paste that link!?!?!
  3. considering I am a server/network admin, I have no problems using IIS on windows or apache on linux... but you fail to understand... I don't want to maintain another box... just the website. :tongue2: So I am going to just have it hosted, and his business will pay for it, and pay me development time. thanks all for the sites, I will check them out, and end up using one of them.
  4. my Father is starting a small business for custom ceramic design... I figure I would build him a site and stuff... who uses what web hosting? I've seen gate.com, godaddy, uplinkearth... just wondering what the popular ones are? thanks Ben
  5. not only that... but how do the hairs on his knees and feet go through jeans and shoes on his first attempt...
  6. here is another that I recommend as well. google Preview: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/189/ allows you to see a small window of what the site looks like in a yahoo or google search... (just like ask.com if you have seen that commercial.)
  7. just rename the xpi to a zip file... there is no compiling per say... just javascript, or vbscript... after you rename the xpi to a zip, then you can open that and see the folder structure in there... there is also a .jar file... rename that to a .zip as well... play around with the code as much as you like, then save everything again, re zip everything, rename them and you're good to go... quite easy once you figure everything out. let me know if I can help at all.
  8. ummm... all the specs i have seen says wifi b/g and multiple card slots for cf, sd, and memory sticks...
  9. Because I love motorcycles and all three ride differently. I wanted one from each class, cruiser, sport street and super sport. Very nice mozz... I've been thinking it's time to upgrade mine too... just a lowly 2000 R6. The woman has a 2002 F4i.
  10. using firefox just click on teh download link on my page... the extention manager will launch and install it. Mine must be defective, it didn't automatically do anything. I did "open with" and it seems to have worked. Well, at least you got it... another way: download the file. save it anywhere. In FireFox go to Tools > Extentions. The extention manager window will open. Drag the xpi file into the window, and it will also install. thanks Ben
  11. using firefox just click on teh download link on my page... the extention manager will launch and install it.
  12. I "borrowed" someone's idea, and source code to create this handy little extention for firefox that adds a GC File menu to your menu bar. I did not change any of the icons, so ignore the pictures. I also could not figure out how to put an ampersand into an xul link, it kept erroring... so the cp and pm links only go to the foum index. sorry. If I get more time I will try to find the solution to that. You can download the extention for installation here.
  13. You can use the RDP client with XP Home but the server has to be XP Pro oh that's right... I did forget about that... ha. well, then VNC is the right answer. 8)
  14. you can download RDP from Microsoft for free, and install it on XP Home. We do it all the time. correction, RDP is already on all version of windows xp... I had to double check, but it is. if it is not loaded on your machines, you can install it from the cd or download it here.
  15. thanks, now I have a new strategy to become number 1!!!!
  16. Thanks all. The builder did offer to put in the drive way for us... the low low price of 4700, and that didn't include the patio or picture framing on the drive way... so I opted no on that one. 8)
  17. my gf owns the house... I make half the mortgage payment, and do the work on it... So i call it mine.
  18. I own a BFG man... bring it. We got estimates ranging from 2800 - 5000 for the same job... kinda shows ya how the market can vary depending on who you go with and what kind of quality you want. We paid 3200 for everything.. which was after a couple hundred off for a cash discount. We also went with a guy that poured 4.5-5 inches instead of 3-4 for the drive way. Pretty sure the patio will never move... 7 inches finished, 9 total pour on thick side.
  19. sure, come one over... although it has been sitting for days now, so it might prove to be a little bit of a challenge.
  20. It took a year to get it done... but I finally have a concrete driveway and patio...
  21. Thanks for the info guys and gals. Right now I am looking at something under 20K... seeing as this is my first boat (driven a lot, never owned) I might just buy a used one for 10 or less just to get my feet wet. Looking at possibly jet driven boats... maybe a sea doo... looked at one, liked it. I will take a look at skipper buds this weekend if I get time...
