I did. What's the status on the "new" servers anyway? Immutable never recovered from what happened (12:00 p.m.) and I had to find another late night server with 10+ peeps. *grumblecakes*

Personally, I feel if the map allows it, do it. I always plant the bomb in the fountain for concealment.

This thread sickens Dunlavy. Dunlavy is vomiting profusely. GC members and regs no longer playing exclusively. People leaving West. Regulars unable to get in. AZTEC... As Dude said, action needs to be taken... and within days, not weeks. 11:00 p.m. and no one to play with. Bless you, child.

Here here! Excellent post! I vote Compound in rotation. It's a map I sorely miss... but admittently do get mad at when I play it at times. Aztec is the worst, IMO.

30% server performance / 30% server settings / 20% lack of time / 20% disenfranchisement with the changes I'd say fix two of any of these items and the rest will fall into place. But yeah... settings probably first. Here's hoping for a full recovery!

I know I'm relatively new around here, but I have rather harsh criticisms of the way Immutable and GCs other flagship servers have been handled as of late. I endorse a "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" mentality. Immutable was unshakable in its attendance, but recently I've heard many, many complaints (not used to that), I've seen less regulars and fewer repeat visits. Dr. Dunlavy's advice: * Get our main, flagship servers back up to 24-26 total players. The numbers now are just too low to compete with busier servers. * Reestablish our server settings. Gravity, wait time, votekick, mani, pop-up messages all need to be set to conservative, old skool settings. * If the new servers lag, kill em. Personally, my ping is BETTER, but I hear so many others complaining about hiccupping and lag. Anyway, John, to answer your question... that's why. Change is hardly good, and change for change's sake is never a good thing to do. And BTW, I'll start signing on more. I've been neglecting my starving baby....... and that starving baby will just have to wait for me to finish playing Counter Strike. - Dun P.S. Dunlavy does not have kids. I used to play at Wastelands and TooL before stumbling across GC. Initially, I hated GC because they put a halt to my rampant swearing (which I still do in real life), but I loved GC because of the strong (but not too strong) admin influence. Cheating / being a tard / etc. doesn't last very long on our servers, even late at night... something I could not say about The Wastelands when I visited there. I'm not sure if I saw you in the Wastelands servers, but I've played against you on ours and I must comment: you're OK. Oh... and yes... WHAT HAPPENED to the Wastelands? If I remember right, their traffic was even better than ours. Addendum: You've played since 1.3? Wow. *thinks to self* I supposed I've had it rough. I never started playing CS until SOURCE. I forget that this game has been out for years and years before I picked it up. I grew up on Quake and Duke Nukem.

I know outside parties to a banning aren't supposed to add to the threads thereof, but I wanted to say that this is such an awesome unban request. You've proven that you enjoy our servers enough to go out of your way to get back into them, and that says to me that you'll be an awesome player to chill online with. I have my online favorites... just people who I look forward to seeing in the servers, and I have no doubt you'll probably be one of them if you're this funny in-game. See you in the fragging circle. Sorry Fatty, I should have clarified: Some were repetitive image uploads with minute changes. I wasn't sure whether or not to go with lowercase body text, but I figured I should since members were suggesting it. The images uploaded now are release candidates. The third one may be altered with a better scene if Jackie's Gmod comes through. :-)
