OKay, it turns out the cord my brother made me is a cross over... :/ i don't know whats wrong still

I don't know why GAIM makes me angry... its a good program and all... I guess it's the font issue. I can't change the font on my buddy list and that bothers me.. because it's too small! I can read it just fine, but I want to be lazy.. u know what I mean?

oy! Why didn't I think of that?!?! Don't you hate when you know something... but it doesn't cross your mind as a solution... Thanks guys!!! I guess it's time to go shopping for that wireless router I've been wishing for.

I have a twinhead laptop computer which is brand-freaking-new running Windows XP Home and I have to hooked up to my Motorola cable modem through USB (cause i want my networking port free) (I also have that slot to stick in a card thingy, but I don't wanna).. I have my networking cord hooked into my laptop and my PC (running windows XP pro) and for some reason, my computers wont talk to eachother! My PC is an HP which explains some of its poopiness... but... it says connected on both sides, I've run the wizards a billion times.... I've run cmd and tried to ping and it wont even ping! I've even gone into advanced LAN properties and checked the little box that says "Allow other network users to connected through this computer's internet connection" I've named the network the same, I've made sure the computer's names were accurate and I've asked 2 of the best geeks I know! One being my brother, who spent 2 hours trying to figure it out, and couldn't. He's in college for this stuff and makes a lot of money off it part time.. he still didn't know. So I plea with you geeks.... HELP ME! because this is how it makes me feel ->

thanks for the feedback... I have a couple issues tho. AIM sucks and I cant get rid of the spyware now.. grr... GAIM makes me angry... I will use it when I switch to Linux, although it has REALLY cool options (like you type "u" and it sends "you" and so on..) DeadAIM doesn't have any options I want... And Trillian is cool and all, but for some reason everytime I go to IM someone I get a crash thingy and it all closes! I guess I'm stuck with AIM or GAIM for now.

night. Windows or Linux?

I currently use aim, I've used "dead aim" or whatever it is, i have GAIM and now understand it's better for linux.. what are some other alternatives to Aol Instant Messanger?! I want to be able to log conversations, use aliases, that kind of thing. Let me know, thanks.

I did for a long time.. then I moved to a new house and didn't bring my old computer with me, and none of my computer stuff. Therefore, I have no CS anymore and I don't have any extra cash.. I'm lucky I have the internet! So no, right now I don't. But I want to again soon...

I think maybe the reason you are so tired is because you are being a bearer of the weight, you are doing your job! Please don't feel as though because you are the male, and you are Daddy, you have to bear all the weight. You are doing a great job, you are still standing each day. And if it gets to the point where you feel as though you can't stand each day, take a break for you. Remember to think of yourself in all this as well. My grandma keeps telling me "Your children feel how you feel." So if you need to take a break, take it. Please keep your head up, keep faithful, and stay positive. You really are doing a wonderful job. As a girl, woman, whatever... I can honestly say that you are a father any girl could wish for, and a husband any woman could dream of. You are really in my prayers each and everyday, along with your daughter, your wife, and your son. ~not so Heartless
