  1. Happy belated birthday guys. 40? I'm 39.66... How does it feel to be 40? Is it really the new 30? If it's true, I can't wait the 4 months, so I can feel younger!
  2. What!!? Isn't he an Apple hater?

    Gyro's!!!

When microwaving... put food wrap over the plate, so it will trap the moisture. You probably need to nuke it for about 30sec. If that doesn't work, add a few drops of water on the plate and try again.
  4. Your logic is specious. Unless you are able to provide data that driving 100mph in a 75 is no more likely to cause an accident than driving 80 in a 55 you subjective argument is baseless. There are studies that look at a number of contributing factors to accident rates: absolute speed, speed relative to speed limit, speed dispersion of all vehicles, road design, etc. I suspect that a detailed analysis would reveal a more complicated picture than the one you have presented. I wasn't trying to publish a report for the NHTSA man... Just trying to make a comment that "too fast" is relative to one's point of view. Relative to one's point of view without specific variables (traffic, speed limit, road conditions, etc). Driving 75mph when 55mph was the speed limit, many people frowned upon this and called the "violators" crazy. Now that 75mph is the norm... what now? Those that drove 75mph in the 1980s were crazy but they're ok now? My post wasn't about accident statistics but that "too fast" is subjective. Yea... It's was like an automatic plea bargain for out of state drivers.
  5. You can safely drive 100+mph. How fast is too fast? It's all subjective, in my opinion. Back when 55mph was the speed limit, people called those that drove 75~80mph crazy. Now that 75mph is the speed limit on many hwys, it's normal. The expensive ticket idea is good... If you can afford it, do it (insurance, jail time, bail, fine, towing, impound fee, etc.). If you add it all up, it should cost you around $3,000? In California, 100+mph is an automatic arrest. Whether they take you or not, it's up to the individual officer. If you can do it, do it! btw. In June I got a ticket in Nevada going from L.A. To Vegas doing 110mph. The trooper got me with his radar gun and he showed it to me. State trooper asked if my record was clean and I said yes (he went to verify because NV-CA has access to each others records). Once he verified it, he gave me a ticket for +15mph. When I called to pay for it, the court clerk said that they process the ticket as a non-moving violation. The fine was $90 and no points! Cool~

    Gyro's!!!

Ya... It's kind of hard to find those grills around here. Most of the gyro meat is pre-cooked and pre-cut to long-flat shape to imitate the "sliced" meat.

    Gyro's!!!

Mmm... Gyro, schawarma. I'm hungry! I guess you guys already know what I'm going to have for lunch. "Extra tzatziki please!" How about making your own pita? Pita Pita 2
  8. Since we're in the topic about giving marriage advice... Even though you've known her a while, after you get married, it becomes a completely different relationship. WE don't change, but women change for some reason. Strange thing, but I've learned to handle the problem. I'll tell you more after you've experienced your first anomaly. It's not the normal "woman" thing anymore. It gets weirder. Just to give you an idea of what you're dealing with... 16 years of marriage with two different women, and I'm still learning. Seriously though, I'm much happier married than single. Don't have to worry about laundry or food.
  9. What are the odds of that happening? Your own family hitting you!!?
  10. btw... when are you going to ask her? Good luck!
  11. I think he's got the newer one that will use the 4gb. He just got it, didn't he?
  12. * 32-bit versions of Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate: 4GB * 32-bit Windows Vista Starter: 1GB * 64-bit versions of Windows Vista Home Basic: 8GB * 64-bit versions of Windows Vista Home Premium: 16GB * 64-bit versions of Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate: 128GB Below explains a bit about "why" less than 4GB, even though, technically, your computer IS using the 4GB. This paper from HP helps explain it–the platform can theoretically support the full 4GB, but your hardware is going to allocate some of the address space (not the physical RAM) to the PCI bus, the video adapter memory address space, and other resources. 32-bit OSs need to use part of the full 4GB address space to address these resources, subtracting from the maximum memory you have available to the OS and applications: The PCI memory addresses starting down from 4 GB are used for things like the BIOS, IO cards, networking, PCI hubs, bus bridges, PCI-Express, and video/graphics cards. The BIOS takes up about 512 KB starting from the very top address. Then each of the other items mentioned are allocated address ranges below the BIOS range. The largest block of addresses is allocated for today’s high performance graphics cards which need addresses for at least the amount of memory on the graphics card. The net result is that a high performance x86-based computer may allocate 512 MB to more than 1 GB for the PCI memory address range before any RAM (physical user memory) addresses are allocated. So, if your video adapter has 512MB of RAM (like mine does), your maximum memory is going to at most be 3.5GB, because Vista has to use 512MB of that address space to address your video memory. It’ll actually be lower than the 3.5GB because there are other hardware resources that need address space, too. So, it never hurts to fill your computer with 4GB of RAM–you’ll definitely get the max, but you won’t be able to address it all. You probably won’t be able to address much more than 3GB, and you might not be able to address more than 2GB. The paper also mentions something interesting about 64-bit computers. Basically, depending on the hardware, you might be limited to 4GB of RAM even if you install 64-bit Windows Vista: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition uses 64-bit addressing enabling virtually the entire amount of installed RAM to be made available on computers that have large address infrastructures (where the entire system has more than 4 GB addressing capabilities via the processor, chipset, physical memory capacity, etc). The HP xw4300, xw6200, xw8200 and xw9300 Workstations have the required infrastructures and even the PCI memory address range is recovered by re-mapping it above the top of physical memory. 13. Yey! Congratulations buddy! Wish you all the best and put faith first and all will sort out. I'll pray for you guys.
  14. I don't need an application like this to tell me how much to spend or not to spend. I just use the stick-my-head-in-the-sand method. Spend away until my pocket is empty. Love the app. Great recommendation as always! Thanks.
  15. Can't believe I bought mac:office... Hate it.
  16. Next time I'll post/forward the email to you. It was a 48 hour special... Save $100.
  17. 1 Gigabyte? They did that just so they could sell you the OEM version. 1 TB... Sorry
  18. That's it! I'm getting out of the 32bit world! Any info for the cheapest 64bit Vista Ultimate (OEM or such)? Tiger had a deal a few weeks ago for Vista Ultimate + 1gb TB Seagate HD for $249, but I missed it. Thanks.
  19. That's good news! Has it changed so much from even earlier this year? I've read some articles dating back to Feb~March 2008 that made issues with drivers.
  20. You make a good point, I should contact this Tracy Reiman and see if she wants to go out sometime. OR I don't see how soy milk would be any different to cow milk, the baby soys still need to feed. :biglaugha: Man, I almost fell off my chair laughing from your posts guys! These people are so whacked out... Why would you spend time doing/thinking things like this? Oh! I know. Because they get paid for it. You think they would bring things like this up if they couldn't pay their bills? It's all the freaking donations they get from, uh... stupid members. Can't believe they have so many members. Talk about money... I should have kept my wife lactating to make some extra dough. Save the soy babies!
  21. Hey guys... Is Vista 64bit ok to buy now? I've been hesitant to install the 64bit version of Vista since it came out because of compatibility issues (drivers, etc). I've been using Vista 32bit and XP on my computers. Still lots of drive issues? CSS run ok? Thanks!
  22. What!!? Beaten to death!!? What the heck! There are a few things that tinkle me off but this is one that hit me off guard. Bring that care taker to me and I'll show him/her(I don't care it it's a woman) what a "beat" is really about. My goodness. I gotta do what I gotta do for my GC brothers. I watch this video when i feel lazy or unmotivated. It works!
