Hitbox registration is a bit better on source, but then again, bear in mind that the servers you're playing on don't have any mods at all on them--that alone is a fairly significant contributing factor.

gfx needed to be chmod'd. done now, once they cached to your disk, they'll load faster.

urK?!? Btw fellahs, I can't tell you how much it makes me laugh when everyone starts saying: "urK?!?" Y'all make my heart warm... ::sniffle:: A couple months ago I ended up on a 32 person dust server at a LAN center. Managed to get 31 ppl saying it nonstop. The other guy kept screaming "STOPPIT" followed by other unprintables.

I've had 4 friends and family get it. It is a wonderful procedure, BUT your eyes do revert in 4-7 years to about 30-50% of where they were before, so you'll be back to wearing contacts/glasses again. I've been considering it for about 15yrs now since radik (the scalpel one) was released. I'd really not recommend it. Supposedly there are some technologies coming out that get around this reversion, but lasiks/radik all basically use the same procedures to correct your vision. The lasiks doctors all say it won't happen, but then I go drinking with my buddy and see him wearing glasses again.

Heh. Well it has a built in spam filter based on google's search engine. That's going to be worth alot. But what isn't really highlighted is that Google is going to be searching your emails as you read them to display context sensitive ads to you. That's a fairly powerful advertising mechanism... but I'm not sure I want to give that up. Especially considering I already have 120gb's available for my personal mailbox.

Yea, but the DL saves you waiting for Steam to deliver the CS cache to you... which'll take about 5 hrs since Steam sucks so bad ;/ 4.95 gets you Prime tho, which is uncapped!

We watched this movie after CPL over a few beers... 12 GotFrag and MFAVP guys in a room howling it up at the Gaylord resort... got about 7 noise complaints over the 20min movie.
