The free weekend was nice, the controls are very finicky and they definitely need to adjust them. As of now I think I'm going to stick with the 360 for mw2 Gaming, I may change my mind.. BUT I did have some luck getting my 360 controller to interface very well with it, someone with more time and patience may be able to fine tune it better. If anyone wants the program/config files PM me and let me know, It's pretty fun with the controller because you can sit back and play at your TV. I've got my setup all together now, able to use my 360 controller to play on my pc I actually do way better than with the mouse and keyboard! still not the same as being on an xbox but its close!

Agreed with ZD on that one.. Totally bogus, especially on the new maps.. dunno if they out on PC yet or not?

Well we have a few applications, all working and have been tested on windows 7, however some apps require services and certain profile configurations.. the biggest problem we're having is keeping the profile information intact through the transfer because so far copyprofile=true in the unattend.xml isn't doing what it should be!

I've been charged with the task of deploying Win 7 on all new machines that require it. Fortunately we'll only be installing it on 5 different PC Models most of which should be plug and play. So far setting up the default profile appears the be the hardest part for me (seeing as how we have corporate proxys we need to apply) there is no simple way to create the default profile. Anyone that has any experience let me know! *The plus side is all these should be fresh loads, no profile migration for other users

well so far I hate MW2 on pc, I played for 5 minutes but of course I'm playing with a 256mb geforce 7600 and it looked like complete poo.. I ended up using vb6 to make an EXE, Used ADO objects to create a connection to my SQL DB, and CDO to do my mail functions (SMTP). SQL for the DB PHP/HTML for web front end (display open issues, edit issue/resolutions and close issue) But I actually had a few different versions VB.NET for Vista/7 platforms (vb6 has some compatibility issues but is more stable in XP and no .net framework to mess up vendor apps) and I also did a C# version as well for snits and giggles. Once closed they are only accessible through the DB which will eventually be exported to create a knowledge base. It's a very crude ticketing system but effective and does what we need it to. I could obviously make it more advanced but I'm a tech at my company not a programmer.. Just trying to make our lives easier and more organized There's a few python projects at work that I could pick up if I learn it and it's billable at 100$ an hour so I might have to start learning! *Anyone have interesting program ideas to make life easier let me know, I'm trying to program real world problems since most examples are very poor scenarios.

I think I'm going to start trying to seriously learn Java since I'm primarily going to be doing client side programing with server side interaction (SQL or Oracle) I also dug up that old mp3 alarm I built in vb.net if you'd like to check it out i can send it your way. Never dumped the time into saving settings so it has to be configured each time you launch I might go back and re-work it though.

That course was huge, I wonder where it's at? We built a decent dirt track behind a church in the woods and it was around for a good 8 years before finally getting torn apart then used as a paintball course for the neighborhood kids.. neat video tho!

I had my temps and was riding a bike to school before I was driving my first car. I had a little Honda CB-100 Trail/Road bike that I worked on then learned to ride. You can probably find one around for 2-400$ they don't go too fast but they're fun
