A PS2 would work just as well--besides, its the same game. Literally. PS2's are much less expensive to replace if they get broken on a trip--I'd expect that instead... unless people have Gears of War... yeeeeeah...

...is it Friday yet? I want this week to be over.

I don't feel like creating a new thread for this, and this is a fitting place. Are we free to come and go as we please at FF? For example, some of us will not have the breakfast meal ticket and will have to leave for food. Or any other time of the day. I like to get out and see the area I'm in sometimes... ehh, you know what I mean by now. I realize that we're not going to be locked down in the ballroom, but just curious as to what kind of clearance issues there might be.

Will there be Wi-Fi at the hotel? I'm interested in bringing my laptop for access.

I will do my best to bring my Gamecube and 2 controllers. While Wii's will be brought, why not just have a dedicated Gamecube? That way the Wii people are not put out, and there will be 100% compatibility. How about Super Mario Strikers and MarioKart as well?

I'm excited... but anxious. I have to work 34 hours in the 4 days directly before FF. Sunday-off Monday-10-9 Tuesday-10-4 Wednesday-10-8 Thursday-10-8 Friday--FF after 1.5 or 2 hour drive. I'm gonna be dead the whole damned weekend.

But honestly you go in and you're first thought is probably like 'wow', there are a bunch of free stuff and you go to your seat that is littered with goodies and a name card. From then on you will probably be gaming or joining in on the poker games/other events. If you get bored you can jump in the pool (or Trash Can). I know a few people were console gaming every now and then; though I expect more people to do that this year with the wii and Guitar hero. Goodies? Name card? Interesting, and sweet. Trashcan? Are you implying that the pool is disgusting? Or is there an inside joke embedded in that thought?

Having never been to a FF before--nor having ever met anybody that I've played with over the months--I am curious as to what I should expect. Please, no replies that simply say "gaming" as I already know that.
