The temperature of the coolant should be the same throughout the system. Check the temp of both radiator hoses. If one is cooler than the other, then you are not getting any flow-which could be a bad water pump(either not pumping or the fins have rotted off), or you have a blockage somewhere. Have you flushed out the system or added any stop leak? Are the electronic fans cycling? Give me some more info.

For some reason, when I saw this, a visual of you sitting at the computer in a dress and wig came to mind and I started chuckling On a different note. I am ashamed at myself for not posting earlier but have been following this thread everytime I come into the forums. It was especially hard for me to initially post here when I am such good friends with both Brian and Keli and especially Danielle. Its also hard to not be able to actually see everyone since I am so far away. I think about you all constantly and the troubles you are going through. Does anyone know what the command is to set gamma in the config file. Ever time I join a game, I have to hit esc, open options, click on video, open the 'adjust brightness', and slide the scale all the way over to the brightess setting. I'd like to just have it set so I don't have to mess with that anymore.

Ok, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. But I kept forgetting to get the information. Clueless is right, if you are getting a low coolant light, there is a sensor in the overflow resevoir. To test that sensor, while the engine is running, smack the resevoir on the bottom and see if the light goes out. A lot of times that sensor will stick and turn on the light. If the light goes out, then that is the source of the problem. The coolant temperature sensor is located on the left (drivers) side of the engine under the intake. It is probably located near the thermostat housing, if not in it. I don't think that is the source of your problem though. If that sensor fails, the engine would not run properly. That sensor communicates with the computer and if it were giving false readings the engine might not idle. Let me know if you need more info.
