  3. Good thing I read through that link lol. My Zune 30 (gf got it for me) froze and I was about ready to throw a fit. Finally got it to work (weird software issue, kept freezing my entire computer when I had it plugged in) and then it froze. Either way, hopefully it fixes itself like the people say it should. Squinty >.<

  7. I use the Thermaltake V1. it's a little more expensive (50-ish). I used to run my q66 quad (2.4 stock) at around 3-3.1 (cant' remember) and never had a temp issue Squinty >.<
  8. Ok, so i'm mostly posting for my curiousity, but With the Pentium D processor he has, wouldn't every single one of those video cards be bottle-necked by the cpu? Squinty >.<
  9. See, I like cardio, but I odn't like running outside,a nd our basketball court at my apt complex is under construction. It's also usually occupied, and I usually do drills, not much of a player anymore. As for hitting the gym, It's a secret ambition of mine to be a pro bodybuilder lol. So Weights is a MUST. I just don't have the focus for it right now. Once I get on a more steady routine I'll definitely hit up the gym anymore. I keep meaning to post up pictures of past vs. now, I just never remember about it. Squinty >.<
  10. Bleah, been getting lazy lately. Haven't worked out for a bout a week, and I have a feeling it shows haha. Have a formal friday, and I'm afraid I might not fit into my suit. Figured posting would remind me that I need to keep on it... so Here goes. I've been taking supplements on and off lately, but never strictly. Just started with Xenadrin RFA-X hardcore (thermogenic), and i'm noticing major boosts in energy, and my appetite has definately gone down since I started last week. Hopefully I remember to stick with it and get down to 6% body fat by the new year Squinty >.<
  11. See, I eat slightly less in calories on my off day, and about 3000 on my workout days as well, which is strange, because i'm 6' about 220 haha. give or take 10lbs depending on the week. One of these days I'll get a picture posted up, I just need to find my camera =\ lost it like 6 weeks ago, and have never gotten up the courage to look for it. Squinty >.<
  12. Way to go kill3r. I've been trying to keep up with stuff, but when I get stressed I tend to eat bad. Most of that is over with now, and hopefully I get back on my diet (nothing specific, just eating better foods). I've put on about 1/2 an inch on both my arms in the past month, putting me up to 17 on the right and about 16 1/2 on the left (can't get it to catch up haha). Chest is about 43 around (want to get it about 46 or so by the end of november). Only problem I have is my waist, I tend to eat bad so i'm not losing anything there, and I've been avoiding cardio lately. If you do cardio with your workouts, try to keep it to AFTER the workout, you'll burn more calories/fat that way. One thing I do for size (on any exercise) after I stop making dramatic gains, is I'll do a 5x5x5 workout. You'll use a medium weight (something you can normally do about a set of 20 with) and pump out 5 really fast reps (helps with the twitch reflex and strength), then pump out 5 slow reps, then the last 5 i'll do normal speed. That all counts as 1 set, and if you do 2 sets of these for the first week, and then bump or to 3 or 4, you should really sea gains in size and strength. i've been doing that for bench/curls/tri's/back for the past week andi 've noticed a huge strengthgain. The super7's are really nice as well. Use the same amount of weight as the 5x5x5, but for the first 7 reps, go from starting position (fully extended) to the halfway point, the second set go from 50% to the finish point, and then the last 7 go at a slower pace, pausing at the peak of the exercise and concentrate on flexing the muscle. for the 5x5x5, i'll usually do that for a month, then go back to normal sets, throwing in the super7's twice a week (I work out 6 days a week, with 1 rest day... sometimes I do cardio o nthe rest day, depending on the mood) If you try those, you should definitely notice improvements Squinty >.<
  13. One of my buddies just ordered a new HD (tonight in fact) and it was a 640, for only 75$, so only 5$ more than a 500 SE16 model, or 10$ more than the model that Preacher mentioned. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822136218 I mean the extra space isn't technically necessary, but for 10$ more that's what I'd get personally. I have the SE16 model of the 500, and I haven't had any problems, So I don't see why the 640 would be any different. Squinty >.<
  14. Like mohawk says, scales don't mean anything. I'm 5lbs heavier than last month, yet lost an inch on my waist, and put on 1/4-1/2 inch on each arm, 1 inch on my chest. You said that you were on a pretty high resistance for it? then yes, you're building muscle volume in your legs, while cutting fat, so that would explain the lack of weightloss. Worrying about the scale will drive you crazy, isntead try concentraiting on how you feel (as ridiculous as that may sound). as for resistance exercise, basic push ups are way underrated. diff variations are always good to do to stress diff parts of the arm. before a standard workout, I'll do a 3x 3x 3x set. Start with hands slightly wider than shoulderwidth, hands aimed inward about 45-ish degree angle, and do 3, then standard pushups, do 3, and then narrow stance do 3, and perform these 3 in one set. Do like 5 to 6 sets 3-5 days a week, and eventually work your way up. Instead of standard crunches, try reverse crunches (incase you don't know what it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V07I8i0uBBI). they help a lot more with lower abs and will help with the "beer gut". for a back exercise, invest in resistance bands (around 10$). they won't feel like a lot of weight, but they are extremely underrated. Sit on the floor, both feet in front of you, and put the middle of the rubberband at your feet. take your arms and pull outward and back (I dunno how to explain it clearly, so if you're confused say something) so your arms are stretched out completely to your sides... (do about 3 sets of 20, depending on resistance of the bands) as long as you continue biking, and do these 3 easy things (while maintaining the diet you have) you should be able to see results without having to have expensive weight sets, or joining a gym. 15. I personally don't use olympic lifting in my routine, because I'm still making huge gains, so I honestly don't know why i'm posting haha... But I know they help incorporate an increase in strength if you plateau. I haven't had to resort to that yet, so basically i'm posting because i'm interested? I dunno, i'ma stop before I confuse myself even more haha Squinty >.<
  16. Little slow on the reply, but congrats on wanting to get back into it. I'm personally in a rut, where going out to the bars is sounding much more fun that going to the gym =\... As for pushups, I used to eleveate my feet, and then do pushups between two benches (hands on the benches) so that way you get a more intense range of motion. Place a 45lbs plate on your back and you're in the a workout of a lifetime haha. Something that's a little easier and still intense is doing a 3x3x3 workout. What you do, is you start with your hands in a widestance (about 8 inches wider than shoulder width) do 3 pushups, then move to normal (shoulderwidth) do 3, and then the narrowstance (the triangle works here) 3 times, take a 30 second break, and do it again. I usually do 2 or 3 sets before I start working out with weights, and it's added HUGE amounts of size to my chest (along with dumbell flyes). It's sad, I have stretchmarks all across my chest from doing dumbell flyes haha. Squinty >.<
  17. Haven't checked this thread in a while, glad to see a couple people replied . I was looking through some of my FLEX magazines and they have a lot of advertisements for www.bodyspace.com... It's like myspace for the workout-enthusiast. I usually use it for inspiration, it's an interesting site Squinty >.<
  18. As far as soundcards go, I've never personally used one, but a couple people I know use Soundblaster (maybe that's not the name? =\ lol...) Headphones however, Plantronics usually make great mic's, but the headphone sound quality isn't the best. TurtleBeach I heard makes a good pair of headphones along with mic, averaging 50$ I think... I personally use Edimensional forcefeedback headset, the older style grey one... they have a new one out i want to try, but i've heard they aren't as good. the Headset I have has decent quality for sound... only thing aobut them is that they are fairly large, and have weird little lights on the side that light up if you have the force feedback on... but you don't see them when you are playing anyway haha. I've used a pair of Icemats before and they work well also. Just whatever you do, DO NOT BUY STEEL SERIES.... my friend spent 100$ each on 2 pairs, both failing... Squinty >.<
  19. I Agree with both JT1 and Shaft, More than 2 awps would take some fun outta the game for those who can't even seem to escape 2 awpers, let alone 3+ *cough*me*cough*, and I'm all for unlocking the Autoshipes. I don't use them, because I'm terrible with them, but I don't see why we couldn't have them unrestricted completely, or at least limited to a couple per team. Squinty >.<
  20. Yeah, i was thinking about getting the 500, but I heard that if i want to use it for my boot drive I should have a smaller HD. True? Squinty >.<
  21. So I dunno if anybody pays attention, but I often complain about my HD freezing in game (cs:s), and I have a little extra money, so i was wondering which I should get. I'm only looking for a 250g, but I don't know which brand I should go with. I always went with Seagate until recently, because it completely died on me, so i sent it back in, and so did the next one. and the 2 I have now (a 250 and 300) are IDE and my 250 is starting to fail. So if anybody has a decent sized HD that they haven't had problems with lemme know what kind it is so I can check it out Squinty >.<
  22. When I make ribs (which is almost never because i'm poor) I also boil them before I grill them... not for long, but just enough, it makes the ribs extremely tender, and they almost literally fall off of the bone. Just what I do, I'm sure your recipe is fantastic Squinty >.<
