Anyone going to take my bet this topic gets closed or moved?

I was joking with Wilco the other night... I must of banned 15 people in the span of 3 hours... im sure I do 75% of the banning, kicking, on our server. Ever since we got rid of ATAC (which was nice because it eliminated FF issues almost completely but cause lag) we have a high rate of tkers. Try out the ATAC and see if it causes you guys lag issues, cause this was the excuse given to us by Apex about of server lag. P.S. Type status in console and take a screen shot and mail it to a admin with the names of the tker newbs....might be a little easier. Yer.. I'm sending you a PM... heads up

Violence in video games is in the eye of the beholder. I remember when I was younger games like Mortal Kombat, Wolfenstien, RoTT were consider games that were violent and caused "issues" with children. My point is, every generation of kids will have parents, media, watchdogs who think games are too violent or risky for their kids. and remember... A computer mouse doesn't kill people, guns do! Educate kids and parents on weapon safety!!

Most important thing to do before taking the XP pludge is to check your video cards compatibility with XP... there are a few rare GF2 chipsets out there that don't want to install new XP drivers. XP thinks its drivers are better (how Microsoft) and will not install unless you do a few workarounds. So if your a PC newb and find out your chipset is one of those problem ones....you may not want to change. Also..if you have less than 256 ram.. you may not want to switch as well. Also... tonight I setup my other pc and got them networked. Setting up a LAN isn't as easy as Win98....IMHO ...protocols and options are just a little more barried than win98. XP is far more reliable than any MS OS I used... although I havent given 2000 a fair shake yet....

sounds like you picked up a nice little trojan... If this is like past progies, they can see your desktop, use your pc, and retrieve all passwords from your pc. So once you get this virus cleaned (if you dont have a virus checker go HERE and scan for it...clean it if possible) ..make sure you change all your passwords for everything.....

I grabbed this file this morning to check it out, and the server detected it, so either it's select servers that detect it or won is finally getting there crap together... I'm tempted to try another old one I posted about a month ago..but I dont want to get banned
