  1. so i had a "non-asian" moment/year. like the time i scored higher on the verbal section of the SAT than on the math. my mother cried for the dishonor to the family and my dad had to commit ritualistic suicide.
  2. so for about 1 year, i havent had my mic working. it is attached to my audio 90's, which i like for the price. so i have resigned myself to typing all my quips and team commands and such. ive actually gotten really good at typing REAL fast. BUT today, i was looking at my volume control on the wire leading from the headphones. "huh?" i thought. "there's something else on the controller besides the knob for volume....i wonder what it is?" "weird. it kinda looks like the microphone icon with a line going thru it. AND its flicked into that position...." EPIPHANY! BONZAI! LIGHT BULB! so i flick the switch to the "on" position, test it out and my mic works fine....... so i got tested today, and i turns out i AM profoundly dumb......1 year of my life....gone. sad ps- so the only downside to this, is that yall will be hearing the sultry sounds of my asian voice very soon...sorry
  3. hey mozz, when ya send that money order throw in a extra 50 for me, will ya? i'd really appreciate it. itd be nice to have ya as admin.
  4. what the heck is an rss feed? (my friend asks) he has this dl program called bytetorrent that helps him dl stuff from the internet now he has this other program that will auto dl some stuff, but it asks for a rss feed. first off, he wants to know what is it. and then how to go about finding one...if you do that sort of thing. of course, i know the answers to all these questions but he wants to see if YALL know the answers.
  5. i dont know brill, you make a good point. but didnt THEY "irrepairably damage" their relationship to him? obviously neither one of them thinks very highly of the relationship. they might act like it NOW, but where was that compasion and concern while they were making out with each other behind his back? i think the friendship to the guy might be salvageable, but def not the gf. that's 2 chances. she's just gonna keep putting herself in these "situations" that seems harmless to her but will blow up in her face. what i would wonder is, how many times has she put herself in a vulernable position before this? probably many times. and what is scary is that she doesnt recognize the danger. i have a fiance that i KNOW is fiercely loyal to me and only me. she knows how to avoid comprimsing situations, and she KNOWS that i do the same thing in return. its all about trust. and she has wrecked his trust and faith in her. and he will ALWAYS carry that little voice in the back of his head......."what if?" i know, cause ive been thru the same thing. kaanin...start the healing process with that guy friend, and cut this girl out of your life. or at the very least dont take her back, just remain friends. no more dating. you're killing your self-worth and self-esteem.
  6. like.......what? ah, i see. well good luck. hope it all turns out the way you want
  7. amen. preach, amen. look kaanin, some of us feel your pain. i dont like it when people try to diminish relationships bc you're "younger". it still hurts just as much. you dont need those two. if they were REAL friends, it wouldnt have happened, hell, it wouldnt have even gotten close. real friends/gf dont put themselves into those kinds of situations. i think you hit it on the head when u said that college could be a fresh start. and now you have a world of possibilities in front of you. take these lessons and store them away. if you see this kind of behavior again, from friends or gf's, that should instantly be a red flag. and now you know. the hard way, but now you know. and ebil got it right. DO NOT FALL BACK INTO THAT RELATIONSHIP. it will only make the pain last longer. good luck, man. this is going to be a tough road for you. but hey, since you said you're a bible reader, i just went over this with my bible study group: romans 5:2-5 we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverence; perseverence, character; and character, hope. And hope does not dissappoint us... now this idea is only a few sentences long, but who know how long this process takes. but have faith that all will work out in the end, if you put your trust in God.
  8. i second that ban for snype that same night: The Greater Toronto Area, 0:1:6927919 repeated team flashing, team nading, blocking doors, etc....he also had repeated warnings to no avail. thx

  12. so i got winrar...now how do i unpack 'em and join em all together?
  13. so i used to know the answer to this but maybe you sports buffs can find out for me. heres the question: which division 1A school DO NOT have "university" or "college" in their offical name. i know some off the top of my head, but i know there's more out there. so let's see who's got the real sports knowledge round these parts.

  16. just ask youself if this friendship is stronger than the bond bw you and that other girl/boy. i had a best friend's gf that cheated on him with another good friend. but us guys are still friends and that girl is history. stronger bonds....choose. but choose wisely.
  17. just take comfort in the fact that he will never amount to anything with his life and you will.

  20. this next post is gonna be a long one but very informative esp if you like hold em..... sorry about the length
  21. demoner, i feel your pain. when i first joined up here the problem used to be MUCH worse. its actually gotten alot better recently. maybe just when im playing cause i always ask people to switch teams and usu people do. but where the problem lies is that some really good folks auto and some really good folks just follow them. and if the original auto-joiner hits the easy side, then its an automatic unbalanced map. now i know that alot of regs say that they auto, but i really dont believe that. its too much of a coincidence that they always play the easy side. on my old server, the admin would ban you if you skill/team stacked, so what i do is: join, see which team is doing poorly, or has less talent and join that one. or just pick the hard side of a map. this problem will never really go away unless people police themselves (not likely). if i were u and i was really gettin mad about teamstacking...just do it yourself. there is no rule against it.
  22. sher did u read the entire thread? me and rico live together in harmony now, but thanks for the backup
  23. rgr fats....only the major ones and rico...look forward to fraggin with ya
  24. rico, as you stated, you are a reg, and in the server WAY more than me. so therefore you should know the rules and attitude that comes with playing in a gc server better than i. just bc you're in here more often does not mean you are above the law. you should also know that regs are held to a higher standard here then your usual noob. thats why regs get booted WITHOUT warning for breaking the rules. you KNOWINGLY broke a server rule, then you came in here and tried to defend it. only after people posted up, did you man up and apologize. and like i said, ive played with you b4 and had a great deal of respect for you, thats why it was so confusing when you acted like that. and honestly i would have let it go, if it wasnt for your attitude. now ill take my precious bruised ego and go tattle on some more folks ps. friends rico?
