When you go afk, you should really type !afk (imho) and not allow others to abuse the situation. You take responsibility of your slot whether someone else uses it. However, I am prepared to lift the ban as you have come here and apologised. Please take more care in future.

It was a temp ban for 15 mins - btw, I got a G510 - don't ask me how I got it to work, it was trial and error - took me almost 5 days to understand how to use a G-key and the in-built help too complicated for me.

8GB RAM - which is more than adequate for the game - as you mentioned mookie, I have heard that valve use this as an excuse to disguise their incompetence.

Only at night/early morning (midnight - UK time) I get this message, then the inevitable happens - steam crashes. Have looked at their possible solutions, but to no avail and besides, Valve/Steam I find are so convoluted with their answers, that anything they suggest never really sorts this problem out. Besides telling me not to play during this time, any hints you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The issue here in the original post is: GC Standards. I wish people would not digress and deviate from the subject matter at hand (especially with this one) as all the ideas of rushing, griefing (!drugs included) et al, are only small issues in relation to the bigger picture of the GC Server. I certainly would welcome a re-inforcement of the rules, as then, people would clearly understand what would be expected from all concerned, thereby promoting a healthier environment for all to play and enjoy. The simple idea being, if you respect the server (and judging by the commitment people show by buying membership) this is an automatic assumption (I think) that you do respect the server and it's rules, the same respect will be reciprocated in return. Peace and goodwill

I'm in agreement with RadioKnight, I vote no to respawn. If it is here to remain, then a standard cost of a defib penalty should incur.
