Thanks for your input Mr. X. I kinda guessed that was what happened to roostery (i typed that word, it wasn't changed by the system I'll have you know). As for the 'faked' dirty word...you wouldn't believe how much getting slapped for saying it confused me.

So you are saying that it was OK to tk and ff someone that asked you politely to remove the tag if they weren't an ADMIN?

Ok, now I have 2 questions about the swear filter. I am not trying to start beef, just learn and question, which I believe should be acceptable as long as I don't start calling people names and crying and whining. 1. roostery - I know, it has a dirty word in it, but is there a way to remove that word from the banned regular expression list in the filter. I can think of other words that have that dirty word inside them (roostered, as in a gun for instance) and I was slapped for saying it...and it took me a sec to figure out why. Not complaining, not being a tool, simply asking. 2. Faked - This one I didn't get. I let my mind go to complete perversion, and could come up with no single reason why this word would be banned by the filter (I also got slapped 3 or 4 times trying to figure out which word in my sentance was the banned word, but thats besides the point). Why is this word banned? (not complainin, starting trouble, just askin) Thanks yall.

They are nice to look at, nice to drive, and absolutely luxerious to sit in. The seats are more comfortable than my lazy boy recliner.

Colonel, the hight problem is not limited to small cars, although small car backseats are pure torture. I fit perfectly fine in my Type S, as well as my old Celica ('95), an old friends prelude. All of these small cars. Amazingly enough, cars that I do not fit in (being6'6") are Mustangs, Firebirds, Sebring (passenger side only), Rav4's (duh?), Grand Prix, WRX, and I'm sure a lot more, but those are the ones that stick out...basically, a lot of big cars that you think would allow taller peeps. I find it frustrating. I also find the tall guy, short girl thing funny. Traditionally, I like tall girls, its just that this one is short. Shes really cute though, so she makes up for it...

I sit corrected in refernce to your audi experience. However, since the goat only boasts a 0-60 in 6.0, your Goat gets toasted by the Audi 'sedan' that I quoted. So now you ARE saying that it is a Grand Prix! (jk) One wonders what you think this goat will be. Don't get me wrong, I am very interested in seeing this car, test driving it, and everything else..but I've been watching detroit and their big caims quit a while, and just like I refuse to pass judgement on the RX-8 until she's in the flesh (with a price tag, instead of estimates) I refuse to pass judgement. I hope its a good car...but I don't expect it to be. I guess we all just have to wait until it makes it to the showroom floor, and gets an actuall price tag. btw...cute little play. yall should write scripts for hollywood...definately supperior to the stuff we get nowadays. Thank you, sir! I try. I'm still neutral about the RX-8. I want to see it in the flesh before I pass judgement...I made that mistake with the Z-4, then when I saw it and rode in it I was blown away. Made the same mistake with the Super Neon. I saw the #'s and was like wow....the I saw it in person and had to ask if the maker was Kia or Dodge. PFFT! I have yet to see an american car that can even rival an A-4 (the cheapest Audi). Raw power the Goat has, but I doubt that the same company that just cut in half the standard equipment on the Grand Prix (a complaint that a pontiac lover friend of mine has recently stated to me as he asked for advice about other cars), would place emphesis on luxary. You have obviously never ridden in an Audi, nor have you touched the G35 Coupe. Both exude power, grace and elegance. I'd agree about the 350Z, RSX and the Z-4 (partially, it screams midlife crisis), but you are dead wrong about the other two. The Audi will whoop your GTO....btw, did you notice your GTO has no listed price? That is funny.

All right boys, you totally left out half the spectrum! $40K is the money we got to work with right? Well, lets step up to the plate and see how you take on a few of these baddies, and see where you lie.... 1. RSX Type-S (did anyone expect this from me?) - I know I love it since its my car, but I love this car. And for comporable performance to any other car you can get under $40k (minus roadsters) she is a steal at $24K. You throw in minimal depreciation (less than 6% after 1 year...better than most cars after they drive off the lot), luxery as well as sporty, and you have a steal. Also, she sports the biggest backseat in her class, bigger than both the WRX and the Audi A4. I haven't been in an RX-8 yet, but I'd be willing to poney up a few Washington's to say that she'll have a bigger backseat than that one too. G35 Coupe (also expected from me) - Just like the 350Z but with the addition of luxery and class. She's a hair slower, more stable, and actually corners better than mr Z, due to an 8 inch longer wheelbase. This also grants you a sizable trunk, and a decent backseat. In this ride, you will find every known extra possible, including duel climate zones (10 degress diff...thats big), memory seats and gps system (for extra coin). XM Radio comes standard with the car (plus your $10 a month). BMW Z-4 - This car looks fugly in pictures, but in person she be sweet. I must admit, its a roadster which means no trunk and no backseat, but this car is fast and fly. This thing is light and blazing fast (0-60 in 5.4), making it the fastest in its class...and therefore king of roadsters (under $1M US). Audi A6 2.7T - Like every good salesman, I'm pushing the limits of your pricerange ($41K)...but this baby is special. You have kids, but you want sporty. Do you take a meager Mazda 6, or Altima that handles like a Chrysler??? No, you go for a European Sports Sedan that you can haul the kids around while you hawl-a$$ around the country. How 'bout a sedan that covers 0-60 in 6 seconds flat? What? Does the RX-8 still sound like a sports car? I don't think so...6 speed manual transmission, sports suspension, all with European elegance. My only question about the link is... How did the guy, driving through traffic (so he can't ask the fellow) know about the chip and the headers, etc? I could put a 10" tip on my tailpipe and sound like I have a lot of work done to it (or a vacuum cleaner, take your pick) but have nothing done. I prefer to keep my accusations by the slips (on the track) and by the numbers (from the Mags...R&T and C&D). I don't know how yall can think that rear is pretty though...the Z got a big ugly a$$ like Rosanne Bar!
