^This - especially on the first level of dead center! This map goes nowhere now because noone has guns and both teams wipe so fast. Most teams get wiped pretty fast here even with smgs, there are just a lot of death charge and good choke points. If you really want an smg, get 2 points and buy one. Not that hard.

I'm pretty sure one SI headshot = 2 points, and protecting your team of 9 people from just regular commons is one point. Most maps come with a standard gun other than the beginning of dead centre, so you know... guns... when out of bullets... do reload... I used to just rebuy smgs as well just cause it was less of a hassle, but this change really isn't a big deal, or a small deal at that.

Because jackie was working on a code that does that, he said implemented it, but it didnt work correctly. Do not know if he kept it in or not, but it was based on "Points Per Minute" Dont know how many people knew about it though Yea, I have not seen PPM used in a long time. Either way ppm really isn't a great indicator since the top 100 people (most players I would assume) hover between 20-30 ppm. Good start though, I guess.

The votescramble doesnt rank by player skill/style, so I don't understand why people always assume a scramble means getting teams balanced in terms of play styles.

Auto-scramble is near impossible to code There are servers that run on auto-scramble. But what I am trying to say is that since this server isn't running on a constant scramble, the score becomes a driver. And since people don't like to lose, there really isn't any encouragement to have the vote-scramble go through other than your conscience if the teams are heavily stacked with better players/regulars.

Isn't the whole point of the voting system to instate some level of democracy. If it was purely not about the points then there would be an auto scramble in the plugin after x number of points difference. We've all been on either ends of the game and honestly I've learned to just suck it up and make the best out of it even if the team chemistry is hopeless.

First of all, he's NOT a member. Secondly, you obviously havent read any other topics because Times has just gone into a few topics and posted "Maestro has the worst ideas" in multiple topics that had nothing to do with MPG. I would say that is singling him out, wouldn't you? Member, player, admin. Whatever you want to call it. He frequents this server and I think someone who plays on this server enough can at least have his two cents. With maestro, yes he's been trolling him a bit, but he hasn't exactly built a great history for himself. Picking on that was TIME's fault but what I'm saying is that in general he owes the GC community an apology more - which remind you, also includes maestro. He had opinions, he said it on the forum, it got out of hand near the end, and he got banned. He's been fine in game the last two times I've played with him - WHICH FOR ME WAS A SHOCKER TOO - but he's been fine. The fact that he took it to the forums to say what shouldn't be said in game should be applauded but how he handled himself on the forums at times shouldn't. I don't even know where this is going anymore, so I'm going to end it here. I've said what I've come to say.

I don't think he needs to apologize to anyone specifically. A GC community apology seems more appropriate. If you've read through his entire post his intent was not to specifically single someone out and bash on them. He was just venting and it was more than smart of him to vent on the forums than in game. He got banned, at least I would hope, because he got out of hand later on and not because he decided to actually say what he sees and was on his mind about the server. Honestly people, if this wasn't TIMES as the poster, give it a thought - he's just another member and he's giving some opinions about the server. Yes he can be an arrogant weenie at times but there's so much unnecessary personal hate going around - especially when someone tries to point something out. Edit: And maestro there's a reason you tend to get picked on by a certain few because of the history associated with you. What I'm trying to say is, there wouldn't be anything negative to say if there weren't anything negative to begin with. You even mentioned that you tend to go spec or leave if the team gets too frustrating to play on, which is fine in my books, but seriously we can't all be on the winning team every single time. Just suck it up and play people, it's only a game. And why am I saying all this in an edit??? Because I've had freaken 4 people ask me in chat - "did you hear maestro got admin?!". wut. I've been on tech o.o more like where have YOU been. Get off dungeon defenders for a bit and get your butt back in here -- I actually prefer if the server had swearing at a minimum. Sure there's always a slip here and there and I've done it myself, but I would rather not have to hear someone spew out crap every other sentence. -- With regards to the power trips of the admins, as much as it's appreciated that they are trying to make the best of the situation, they are still human. Though at times, it would be nice if they were less sensitive about every other issue. Unless it's ruining people's fun, you're there to administer not to dictate. Situations such as Elegant's - really shouldn't have been a problem since it was neither derogatory nor really meant to be an insult. Just take it easy sometimes, we're just all here to have some fun and shoot some zombies.

In relation to the grenade launcher, maybe up the cost for it a bit more. It's a grenade launcher, it's suppose to do massive damage in my books..., plus the reload isn't great on it and that's one of it's major weaknesses. Tbh, it doesn't take much to take down someone with a grenade launcher if there were more team coordination.

#1: Seems fine since most of those who are infected are being healed by health kits now anyways so it seems and the percentage of infection is low. #2: A respawn limit is better than the member respawn imo. Newer players have an increased likelihood of dying and may just really out balance the teams at times when it's stacked. #3: Tried it on another server and hated it, not sure how others enjoy the incremental increase.

Guys... the issue has been brought up, the issue has been answered. The kick has been done and the player got back into the game shortly after. It seems to have calmed down the past couple of days, I personally haven't experienced the crashes anymore.

Hello, There seems to be a lot of server crashes lately, and it's getting to the point where it's infrequent to finish a whole versus run without it going down and resetting. Is this just a normal process we have to bear with or is it being looked into already? Either way, see you guys in game : )
