I would love to see more custom matches... I removed all of mine because I was having crashing issues (unrelated to them but I wanted to be sure) so I'd like to try again.

Wow this is a cool contest. I'm gonna miss it though, going out of town and busy with stuff. Maybe I can come in in a week or so and try to farm a kill or 2 on peanut. lol

It's one of those weird things.. before getting an SSD and installing a new copy of my OS it worked fine. Had all these issues after the new install. I'll check into the mice. I may have to go back into wired. It's weird how it's not all the time. Like today I'm having no issues at all.

I use a wireless Logitech keyboard and a wireless Logitech mouse. I have noticed my mouse acting like something is interfering with it, it won't respond, pointer jumps around, etc. I've updated drivers, switched what ports it uses and tried Logitech's software to fix it. Sometimes it's much worse than others. I'm considering getting another mouse. What are you all using and what do you like? I'd really prefer a wireless one since my kid likes to "steal" it occasionally. He's 2 and has ASD so can't really do much about it. I'd worry a wire would lead to more issues.

Hi Clony, I'm back to playing. Sorry about your ankle but a trampoline arena sounds freaking amazing. Every time I play hunter I think of you. There are some new people but it seems as busy as ever and is pretty much always enjoyable.

Everyone experiences total fails even with stuff they're good at. No excuse to badger you or anyone for doing poorly. I also am hesitant to play tank every time but I've been getting better (I think, probably just luck) I guess it helps to have a team that lets you know if you have enough to heal, or if there's a car nearby to use, or windows to break etc. If they just offer insults they're being pretty useless themselves. Hope you don't have to go through it again!

Also goes both ways, when I'm across the room from a boomer who gets shot, I'm the only one who gets boomed (or one of the few.) I guess it might be random but whatever.

When I land in a crowd of people and get shoved mid vomit, no one gets boomed and can't vomit. They shoot me and I'm lucky to get one, even if I'm standing on a guys face, he probably won't get boomed. When I spit and it hits railing or a tree branch, or just disappears entirely. When people won't stand still so I can pounce them.

Should never hold spitter especially as a survivor. Duh.

Witches seem so easily beaten these days. Again fire confuses them too much. I'd love to see some jimmy zombies. It's been a while since I've seen a horde of those.

Well jump back in guys. I did and I'm so much happier during the day after I've had time to play for even 30 minutes. L4D2 is my happy place!

Military Sniper is usually my go to if AK isn't available. I'm rusty though. I love having a deagle as a backup and will even use it as a main weapon if I'm caught reloading or something.

There wouldn't be any history as everything was all new... but last night I was able to play for just over an hour with no problems. I will keep trying and do that if it happens again.

Furthermore all drivers are updated and we did a speed test both wired and not and everything checks out.

Looks like our firmware is up to date already.

That's a good idea, though I wasn't having the issue before all of this (and had Windows 10 that time as well.) I went ahead and went back to a wireless connection instead of using Ethernet and was able to play for 25 minutes until the server actually crashed and I had to leave for the store. I'll look into the router as a possible source, wouldn't have thought of that.

Background: I got a new hard drive (SSD) and installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 Home 64 bit today. Fresh copy of Steam and all my games, Windows and everything is 100% up-to-date. I get to play for 5-20 minutes before I get disconnected "Client Timed Out" I have tried all the fixes online in the steam posts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified the files, made changes in the console, startup, pretty much everything. This is not a wifi issue. I started using my Ethernet port today and if anything my connection is 10x better and faster (before I was only wireless.) I even disabled my wifi adapter in case it was causing some issue, but I'm about to try it again back on wifi only. One thing I have noticed is that when I open the game, the Blog on the main page is always lit up, like it has something for me to read. Which makes me think something isn't being written correctly. Any ideas would be appreciated, this is sort of driving me a bit looney.

I upgraded my PC to "last" before I had Sebastian. Now I see 6GB video cards and 3TB hard drives and I'm like, "whaatt?"

Wow, all of that sounds fantastic! I know towards the end of when I was playing I was getting a lot of crashes and losing my points. That's incredible.

Hey Tsu, I'm in the same boat as you. Just hopped on for the first time in like 2yrs yesterday and loved it. It really is an awkward feeling, wanting to play but afraid you suck, and you don't know anyone who is on. I played a vanilla level first and owned them so I joined into one of GCs. I was better than the people who had just bought it on sale! BTW I love seeing your makeup pictures on Facebook! Your work is really awesome. Looking forward to your Halloween stuff.

I've been absent for the past 2yrs due to mommy-hood and starting a business. I was able to get in 2 hours during the day yesterday since work was pretty slow and my kid was sleeping/distracted. I was happy to see my skills haven't totally disappeared, but I apologize in advance because I do feel like a total noob now. I've forgotten choke points, etc. Anyway just wanted to post and say HEY YOU GUYS. I've renewed and hope to be around a bit more. B-day in Monday and I told my husband I just want a day to GAME, no presents, just leave me alone. LOL
