k i double checked with other servers and i'm not gettin the same problem. i also monitored the server from HLSW and the ping is crazy. it will be low and in intervals completely time out.

k just recorded a demo of someone playing under "ben sucks" he pretty much made his aimbot obvious...with possible wall hacks. anywayz here is his steamid: 0:0:1498373 I have both the screenshot of his steamid and first person demo available upon request.

ventrilo doesn't help anywayz. there is like a 1-2 second delay before you get the message from your teammate on ventrilo. the other team usually doesn't just stay at that one spot where your teammate might have gotten killed. and since the view is limited to first person team view ventrilo just ends up becoming a distraction when people keep barking out where the enemy is. so, in short, ventrilo is overrated.

p.s...when do i loose this "weapon bunch-o noobs" thing? it keeps taunting me.

I wanted to know if anyone was starting up a team to enter competitive play like TWL, CAL, UGS, etc. Nothing too serious...but, I just wanted a taste of what competitive play was like for CoD.

using partition magic you maybe able to set it back to fat32 without losing data. but, ntfs shouldn't be slowing you down...it should be speeding it up if anything. try resetting your bios and then check to see if there are any ide features that are turned off or on...like smart disk...turn that off.

ok like they said set your first bootable device as your cdrom drive. since you got it three years ago you probably have windows 98 or 95 on their which means that ure using FAT32 partioning. you wanna switch that to ntfs since it's more stable, secure, and efficient. so just typing formation won't do. just insert the cd and reboot and the windows xp setup will start up. go through and then there should be a point where you choose what hard drive and partition you wish to install on. there should be 1 or 2 partitions listed. delete those partions then select the unpartitioned space to install to. then it will ask you what type of format you wish to use. select ntfs and then it will format and the installation will be pretty automated.

hey jeffe i posted on gotfrag and defended you a bit. i'm sorry the cs community are made up of jerks. but constructive criticism...i'll tell you what pdo told me, less slow motion except for really sick stuff, and more multiple kills. some of the clips you had in your movie you cut off to early before the scene should have ended. good first attempt. much better than my first.
