I used Linux last year for all the programming I did... which didn't really involve using Linux much but I played around some with it. It was pretty interesting, but I think I'd agree with ZeroDamage in saying it's not so much an OS for an everyday gamer. PS - Best of luck to you with Linux and the salvagable part of this thread. Luckily, I only claim rights to messing up one of those.

Actually, I did read all of the posts and what you said reminded me of a comic skit I heard so I tied it into the topic so that maybe somebody might read it, not take it seriously and chuckle.
