  1. Last night, I tried my method of leaving/rejoining to reset my game crash. I rejoined my old team in that same round, but I didn't get my points I had before I left. I was in the infected team, and the map we were playing was Swamp Fever. I left/rejoined twice in that same campaign. The first time I exited my game ENTIRELY and rejoined the server a minute later; which is my method I use to reset my game crashes. The second time I simply left the server and rejoined again seconds later. I didn't recover the points I lost either way. By the way, I only experimented the point retention on Swamp Fever so far. I don't know if it works for the other campaigns. I'm not sure if you HAVE to actually crash in order to recover your points. I'll try investigating the point retention again later tonight, and let you know what happens.
  2. Oh boy! That update of recovering your lost points once you crash sounds awesome!! Thank you for that On a side note: For those of you that experience game crashes every 90 minutes (approximately), I found a way to stop that. If you leave the GAME (NOT JUST the server, the GAME itself) and then rejoin the server, this will reset your future game crash. For example, if you play for about an hour, you're probably going to be more likely to crash within the next 30 minutes. Leaving the game entirely and rejoining the server is going to reset your game crash for another 90 minutes. This means you won't experience any game crashes if you use this counter-tactic. Trust me, it actually works. I know leaving the game and rejoining the server might be similar to crashing. However, you'll at least be in control when you leave the game instead of just crashing randomly in the middle of a round. I recommend leaving/rejoining the server once a chapter ends or something. Again, this is for the people that experience game crashes every 90 minutes or so. Hopefully, this update will allow you to retrieve your lost points once you rejoin the server after leaving
  3. Yea, I think the firework limit to 5 is fine the way it is. The fireworks are not spammed by the survivors like they were a year and a half ago. Instead, they're being used strategically; just as Red Devil said. The molotovs are also not spammed by the survivors. The only exception to that is when there is a tank that has spawned. Other than that, they are not bought that often.
  4. If players don't want to buy fireworks or don't know how to buy them, I doubt increasing the limit is going to make much of a difference. The limit is not too low. If survivors are getting overwhelmed by commons or the special infected at one area, just buy a Molotov. There are some major advantages to buying this: 1. It saves your ammo from shooting the firework crate 2. It allows you to aim where you're going to throw your Molotov 3. It can be used for not only close ranges, but it can also be used for far distances as well 4. It takes less time to buy and use a Molotov compared to the firework crates 5. It makes you less vulnerable to getting stuck and overwhelmed by commons/special infected when using the Molotov due to Advantage #4 Besides, it's not like the survivors abuse the Molotov. If anything, increasing the firework limit significantly or making it unlimited again will be like giving the survivors 12.5 points similar to the hunter pounce. They would likely just use them, and abuse them whenever the survivors get attacked by a few commons. You say that limiting the firework limit would give the infected a huge advantage, but increasing the limit or removing it altogether will likely cause the opposite effect. carols dont qoute my post when you are not reading it clearly, this is an order. What? I misread? btw it's Carlos
  5. Molotovs aren't a total replacement if firework crates are still available to buy. Players just need to use them wisely because of the firework limit. Those loads of molotovs and gas cans are not really spammed as much as you say it is. Almost every item spawns in nearly every map (melee weapons, magnums, defibs, pills, pipe bombs, etc.) Gas cans are rarely bought, and they spawn at some certain points in the campaigns. Molotovs usually spawn in areas where the survivors would have to do some shopping in order to retrieve them. Unless there is a tank that has spawned, the molotovs aren't bought that often. I'm not sure if you were around before early 2015, but there was a time when everyone used to spam the firework crates like they were candy. Back then, you could've said that there was way more hand-holding for the survivors than there is now. If firework crates are actually abused in spite of the firework limit like you say it is, then maybe Architect's idea of a team limit and an individual limit could work. No worries, though. You don't have to worry about me abusing/buying the firework crates lol

  7. Yea, it's been a little while since I've used Discord, but using it for the Jackbox games sounds good to me! Hopefully we can get a game going soon. The link doesn't work for me
  8. By the way: for those of you that are unfamiliar with some of the Jackbox games, I'll show you an entertaining/funny video by RJWaters2 for each of the mini games I mentioned. Drawful: Fibbage Bidiots If you have time, please check out these clips. They are worth a watch. Some of the amusing moments in those videos could be the same fun moments we could have in game XD
  9. From what I've seen, a game usually lasts between 15-20 minutes. It will be nice to know when others are available to play, and when is the appropriate time for me to ask or invite others into the game. I think playing these games are a good way to have some light-hearted fun and see others' sense of humor lol
  10. I didn't know where else to make a thread since this is unrelated to Left 4 Dead or the server, so I decided to place it here. Ok, hi guys! I thought it would be nice for you guys to know that there are these cool and fun games you can play. I'm talking about playing Drawful/Fibbage/Bidiots. They are grouped together in a package in Steam that can be bought. I already bought both of the Jackbox party packs. Matter of fact, you don't need to buy the game(s) in order to play. Only the host needs to buy it apparently. Once the host sets up a game, a code appears. The rest of the players simply have to go to Jackbox.TV and then enter the room code to join the lobby the host is in before the game begins. Plus, you can play Drawful/Fibbage/Bidiots from your computer/laptop/phone/tablet/etc. You don't even need a controller to play these games! I thought it would be cool if we played Drawful and Fibbage together. There are about 3-8 players that can join these mini games. I would prefer it if there were more of us that played together because after all, the more the merrier! I thought it would be even more convenient to try this out now with you guys because I'll probably be gone from the server for most of this week since I'll be on vacation. Anyways, I tried this already earlier on today. It was cool, but I had a hard time starting a game. Plus, I needed people that were able to take the time to play for a while. I wanted to spread the word about this because I'm interested in playing this with you guys. I also need help in setting up a game for this because everyone has their own schedules and they won't be available all the time. Unfortunately, I can't invite all you guys because I can't really contact you all through Steam, so making a post about this is really the best I can do for now. Trust me, guys: Playing Drawful/Fibbage/Bidiots can be really fun, especially the former two (Drawful and Fibbage) since it's easier to be humorous in those mini games. The latter (Bidiots) is probably more fun if everyone in that mini game can talk and hear each other in the game. I'm also interested in knowing HOW do we talk when we play these mini games so we can communicate and hear each other while we play because I was unable to last time I tried doing this earlier. Anyways, If you guys are interested in joining me to play these games out, and in helping me out in setting up a game at a time, please respond. If you would like to play Drawful/Fibbage/Bidiots with me and others, I'd love to set it up for you If anyone is interested in knowing how to play the game, please respond. I'll explain it to you the game(s) and I'll show you an entertaining/funny video that demonstrates how fun us playing these mini games can be. Hopefully, you guys are interested in trying Drawful/Fibbage/Bidiots out. I want to have some more fun with the people here, and I want to see more of you guys' and girls' sense of humor when you play this

    Axe

Hm....maybe the axe spray could be added to the server as a new melee weapon? Or maybe we could use the axe spray to spraypaint the walls inside the safe room at the start? :3
  12. Carlos

    Axe

Aw, thought this was about the fire axe.

    Hunter

You mean vanilla booms? Oh boy :3
  14. Carlos

    Hunter

    No, Elias. That's griefing.

    Hunter

I know I sided with the hunter nerf before, but I'm with the hunter supporters for this one. 7.1 points for a 25 damage pounce is reasonable, just for the high risk alone. It takes longer for the hunter players to get their tank now. Plus, I feel like there aren't as many people playing ONLY hunters nowadays. When the server is full, there are about 2-3 hunter players on the opposite team you need to worry about. That's not that bad. Even if the infected team happens to be full of hunter players, you can just look at the sky and try to kill them. Try to aim up and kill those hunters in mid-air. Everybody else here uses lasers. You guys enhance your accuracy when you buy those, so I know you're more than capable enough of killing those hunter players that are high up. Everyone here has that potential. If the hunter gets nerfed even more or if the class gets removed entirely, I feel like the hunter players might lose interest playing in the server since their class would either be pointless or unavailable to use. By the way, Craw, the last campaign you played before making your comment about the hunter nerf was Dead Air. It's a horrible one. The first 3 chapters are basically a hunter heaven, and the early chokepoints are tough for the survivors to get through. You're better off just waiting to join until the last 2 chapters since they aren't as brutal to play in. I guarantee you that the hunters aren't as much of a problem in most of the other campaigns
  16. Someone should get our story out in print. This is some high quality stuff right here.
  17. Lol that one and only December with 32 days
  18. Santa Claus came tumbling down his chimney! Oh yes, he is real indeed. Peanut suddenly rushed to Santa so he can sit on his lap. Santa Claus asked Peanut what he wanted for Christmas. That's when Peanut answered....
  19. What about vanilla booms? And how will this affect stomach acid?
  20. You know what I want you to do, Tainted? I want you to beat those problems (depression, leg pain, whatever diagnose/symptoms, any other health problem, etc.) by looking at them straight in the eye, take them down, and then curb stomp the hell out of those negative issues. See, I'm here to ease your mind because I have good news for you. I know that you will pull through this and be healthy in the future. You are not going to need any binds in order for you to recover. I know that you won't have to deal with undergoing any medical treatments that involve using lasers. Why? Because YOU sir, have potential to be healthy! From "lady" to lady, Tainted, I hope you feel better and get well soon. I also have a good feeling that we are secretly hoping that you'll return to the server once everything works well out for you. While Dixie is sending you her prayers, im going to send you Carlos hope and optimism Sincerely, Carlos
  21. M_4iS_T3r <STEAM_1:1:78296473> The exact same thing happened at the same exact chapter at the same exact spot. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/449610456037511621/571285C8D9B0E3A13D0F241876E324C1CDE4EEB7/ Here is Bambi down below as a witness. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/449610456037512941/45F6D3FF514F22BF81538F67D41E0F4E856473AD/ ^ He was my only teammate too, and he tried to betray me by switching teams to stack. When he failed to do so, that's when he decided to suicide. Unsurprisingly, he left the game shortly afterwards. Hopefully, there aren't anymore suicides anytime soon.
  22. An Obamanation <STEAM_1:0:5363282> This guy decided to commit suicide at the start of the first chapter of the Passing. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=687223574 After he killed himself, he immediately left the game. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=687237137 ^ I agree with his reaction. It was so random and shocking. Unfortunately for his team, they lost that chapter against my team because he costed them that round. Fortunately for us, he gave us even more evidence by originally being the main. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=687223512 Obamanation was the one that suicided, NOT Arcani. He was just unlucky enough to load in late into the game, and just happened to load in dead. The first screenshot up above shows him joining the server right when the griefer died, and right before he left the game. Arcani wouldn't do such a silly thing; he's a good boy Anyways, sorry to bump this thread up lol
  23. Lol sorry, Perez. I forgot that the taaaank mutation doesn't seem to appear in the game mode options in the main menu. This game mode is a good one though! Like rookie said, the survivors have a 10-15 second head start to rush ahead before the tanks spawn. This is kinda like playing the chase game of cat and mouse. The tanks are the cats, and the survivors are the mice.
  24. Of all the newbie things you say and do that one takes the cake. Wow, I thought he was kidding too. I just realized he wasn't lol Nothing I say anymore can top the most "newbie thing" he just said, eh master?
  25. Err.... yea what else is new?
