Does anyone else use the quicksave? I do. I know I suck as CS so what makes you think I wouldnt : ) I'm going to play it again but NEVER use quicksave and only use autosave I don't think I'll make it to the end cause I'll end up at some point with like 3 hp and then I'll never get past the next sequence. but it will be fun and frikin this game was a no contest the best game to date. Except for Atari 2600 kaboom where the robber goes back and forth accross the screen droppin bombs and you got 3 buckets to catch em or KABOOM!!! Auggy

I did see him in one corner at some trainse coming out of the mines just after ravenholm. When you come out of the mines you run along some trains and then pass a few snipers. Then as you come to some wharehouses combine gaurds come out shooting. If you run to the corner of the trains and take a peek you'll catch him walking the train tracks. one day I'll grab that shot. Guys, I just finished the game I and Flippin dug it. I loved in "the benefactors" when the 0-gravity gun could pick up the bodies..that was clutch. as for the end... I think I would have liked to see some shots of shepherd somewhere in the mix. I did notice in one screen in the prison where a soldier who looked like from opposing force was laying on a table. I think a better end would have been for sheperd to make havoc that causes the old man to split and allows the 3 scientists to free gordon. Though you would not see sheperd you later in a sequeal would find out it was him who did it. Then I'd take a ol fat 500megaton nuke and put it in the porhold and seal 'er up. Playya, brutha, indeed fatty is correct. One thing I would like to encourage you is that it's ok to feel weak. It's ok to feel like you can't handle it cause this is where Gods grace shines in us. You will have the strength because you love your dad. You CANNOT fail him. This is how God made us. This love you have for him will communicate and should communicate to him how God loves him as well. Not crying is not strong. Loving him is. always remember even if you know your dad will enter heaven it's still ok to hate death and weep with sorrow. After all wasn't it Jesus who wept when lazarus died. It's the shortest verse in scripture and yet it TELLS SOOOO MUCH. You being a believer in God and wanting to do what it right will help you and God will act through you because of this. I lost my mom when I was 23 and now I'm 34 and it still hurts like MAD. I don't bother asking God to take away the pain cause if you love someone you dont want to be away from them. Thus I realize my pain helps me to see God and me. Anyhow I do feel for you watching you dad slowly deteriorate. Just remember love em and you'll never regret that at all! Aug

is that blizzards game? I dug SC alot. The story line was one of the best I read. Only HL is just as good but for a story the writer did a great job. in the game by blizzard there is a unit called a "ghost" who can cloak and go into enemy camps and lay a nuke on em. That game was alot of fun. Auggy

preach, my NEC 1920nx is 19ms and its great. While I admit it has a tiny tiny bit of ghosting if I move rapidly back and forth its so minute I dont miss my 21" at all. Tis true the faster the response time but beware of analog lcd they seem to ghost more even with faster response times. My experience has been the dvi is much much better but if someone knows more about that please expand... Auggy

does anyone here who says a CRT owns own a NICE LCD. Cause I agree with those who say good LCD's kick all over CRT's. It is true for gaming CRT's are better. But if you do any reading on a LCD (DVI) there is no way a crt can even come close unless you run it in like 800x600...YUCK! samsungs 910t is AWSOME by buddie CS's with it and its near flawless except its got better saturation that any CRT can even come close to. With that in mind CRT's on the high end (expensive) are very nice too. and CRT size sucks bad. but Im wondering if anyone owns like a 500-700$ 19" LCD

dont get me wrong I did like my 21 inch ALOT I just like the claity of my lcd much much more. but a 24" would be KILLER!!!
