But they've changed the whole aspect of the game if you guys remember Shogun Total War Shogun Total War: Mongol's Invade Medieveal Total War Medieveal Total War: Vikings Invade Rome Total War Trailer If you dont know what the games are about visit. Total War Homepage Basically the game is divided up into two parts: a turn-based game and strategy commanding game. It has 3d battlefields and you can control hundereds of units. I've beaten the above 2 games (with their expansions) but i'm looking forward to Rome total war because as i said above they totally redone it. New everything, it looks really good! Crowbar June 13, 2004 Share Crowbar Member June 13, 2004 definatly a great series, and Rome sounds/looks amazing. Before the battles were on a 3d battlefield, but the units were simply 2d sprites. Now each individual soldier, horse, elephant, and everything else on the battlefield is it's own 3d model. At least, that's what I understand from the Gamespy preview. Siege's are no longer soldiers inside a big empty fort, but they will actually be fighting on the walls, scaling the walls, fighting inside cities, etc. I can only hope I get a new computer before it's released. On probability scale it would be an 8 out of 10 which means I will read a couple of reviews first. Now HL is on the 10 out of 10. That thing is being installed as soon as I can get my hands on it.
