bullet-401 August 23, 2004 Share bullet-401 Member August 23, 2004 I use anything thats the cheapest. The only thing thats different is the sticker on the top of the cd's.
spiralstairs August 23, 2004 Share spiralstairs Member August 23, 2004 i've heard that occasionally cheap-o CDRS do not retain information for longer than a couple of months, like the data just gets washed away. Is that true? I was wonderin myself.... I buy these CDRS that look like little records, theyve got grooves and all, and theyre not that much more expensive than regular CDRS. -noah
spiralstairs August 23, 2004 Share spiralstairs Member August 23, 2004 oh, and i also just finished through a 30-pack of Sony CDRS and made a lot of coasters, as you say.

gOOters August 23, 2004 Share gOOters Member August 23, 2004 lol, okay. I dont think you need to use Memorex. If you want to be safe, find a cheaper brand w/o being totally generic, thats what I did.
Magruter August 23, 2004 Author Share Magruter Member August 23, 2004 I found an instant rebate at compusa for 20.00$ off, so 100 cd-r's would end up costing only 20$ which is comparable to the cheapies. Now what does printable mean? They have a top where you can write on? Can you run them through the printer?? Can some enlighten me?
gOOters August 23, 2004 Share gOOters Member August 23, 2004 yeah, you can use a printer to write to the disks. Just load your documen(s) and put the CDs in the printer instead of paper
Hitman August 23, 2004 Share Hitman Member August 23, 2004 It means you can print directly on the disc with a compatible printer... e.g. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id...33&type=product
