duma September 5, 2005 Share duma Member September 5, 2005 I can't remember I ran the 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, the 400, shuddles, 300 intermediate hurdles, and I also did the high jump. I lettered my freshman year in the 4x1 and the shuddles. We went to state in the shuddles 3 of my 4 years (my senior year we threw the match because we didnt want to run anymore). Bubblegum Bandit September 6, 2005 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member September 6, 2005 Nice. Mind was at OSU camp. 4.45 bub? wth? Wanna race now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was before I got into hard core lifting in college. I've been playing soccer since I was 5. Without sounding racist (I apologize if I do), the black guys on the football team always said I was the fastest white boy in town. They would laugh at their friends from other schools that I would run down from behind in football games. I went to the Univ. of Tennessee football camp and generated quite a bit of interest when they clocked me at that speed. However, I was so lazy back in the day, I decided to just sleep in the second day of camp rather than show up. Anyway, yeah, you might be able to outrun me now fatty, as I've packed on about 70 lbs since those days.

Nox September 26, 2005 Share Nox Member September 26, 2005 100m- 10.4 seconds 200m- 22 seconds 400m- 53 seconds (helped us get third place in state relay team) 800m- 2.11 3 mile - 18mins Notice a trend? The longer distance I ran the higher my numbers climbed. I loved track but being a wrestler too probably slowed me down. Learned to pace myself cause I kept getting pinned due to exhaustion. At one time I had like 21 pts to my opponents 6 and he pinned me. ugh Can't remember, but I think 24 is the call or something.

Leveller October 3, 2005 Share Leveller Member October 3, 2005 I only really moved to track and field after I smashed up my shoulder pretty badly playing rugby (1 week before trials with Bath RFC and 2 weeks before the endurance course for my university scholarship with the Royal Marines which might mean something to our British members ). If I remember correctly 100m :12.3 200m :23.8 400m : don't remember any times 800m :2:08 5km :18:59 I had more success at field events Shot (6.25kg I think that's about 14lbs) : 14.36m Discus (1.75kg about 4 lbs) : 37.63m Javelin (.8kg about 1.75lbs) : 41.3m Then I went to Uni, discovered beer, cigarettes and women, all atheletic prowess abandoned me and I eventually turned to computer games.
