Playaa February 7, 2003 Share Playaa Member February 7, 2003 dah check dis out Another Forum talking about it and DIS! Videos of it in action the key to remember here is that the cloak itself doesn't make you invisible....it allows specific types of light to be bounced off of it which is images of what's behind it giving it the appearance of being see through.... the bone.mpg is probably the best one for understanding this
Shadow Slayer February 7, 2003 Share Shadow Slayer Member February 7, 2003 wow pretty sweet. it would be like in james bond where they have the camera on one side of the car and it projects to the other side what it looks like so in effect your looking through the car. quite possible to duplicate but very hard to perfect. gOOters February 9, 2003 Share gOOters Member February 9, 2003 Bart!?!?!? HI Ya that inviso thingie is awesome. And by awesome, I mean TOTALLY SWEET!!! The real trick (besides shrinking the tech.) will be to account for the angles and wrinkles on the object and also, I suppose a system will have to be devised that can interpolate what things must look like from ANOTHER perspective, that way all the tech can be set up on the camaflauged object, rather than using seperate camera/projection location relative to the projected object. Hmm, I think Ill work on that one OOOH OOOH I got Jiggleman! Im not going to be posting for awhile now
