Rev has an ATI 9500 card with DX9 support. All the nVidia GF4 series cards are maxing out about where mine is on 2003.

There's some controversy in the graphics arena about Pixel Shader 2.0 vs. 1.2 or some such nerd stuff I don't really care to understand. I think nVidia is just tinkled that they are based on DX8 and ATI is all over DX9.

So yes, Rev's '03 score pwns Homer's.

Nvidia is tinkled about their Geforce FX supporting 2.0 version while 3dmark2003 is only 1.4 or 1.1 Nvidia expects everyone to use their standards, 2.0 is not a supported DX 9 standard, 1.4 is. Nvidia is tinkley because ATI is kicking their donkey.

BTW, 3dmark2003 crashes my system, hard lock. I have to hit the reset button. No score from me at this time. Not going to take a chance of this program screwing up my system. The Space Marine thing before it crashed was only like 10 fps or less. It was HARD on my vid card and my system isn't junk. Only my connection is.
