discom June 2, 2006 Share discom Member June 2, 2006 I was wondering if anyone else is like this... If I start to play CS when i get back from work, i will totally suck. I will feel like a total noob. Then, after about an hour or two, I will actually be able to kill multiple ppl before i die each round. If I continue to play into the evening, I will be able to do spinaround headshots and also awp ppl out of the air and stuff like that. My reflexes increase more and more. But then, I go to sleep. I wake up the next day, go to work, then come back. Then I totally suck again. Why do i have to learn how to play again everytime i get on?? I wish i could be consistent
anonymo June 2, 2006 Share anonymo Member June 2, 2006 Uhhh...yeah...welcome to life...this is why professionl athletes warm up before games and why people stretch before working out and drink before attempting new pickup lines
discom June 2, 2006 Author Share discom Member June 2, 2006 (edited) yeah i know that... but i should have the same reflexes the whole time. And its not like ppl need to stretch their fingers so they can use WASD but anyways, i think this topic came from a combination of sleep deprivation and being bored at work O_o Edited June 2, 2006 by discombobulated
anonymo June 2, 2006 Share anonymo Member June 2, 2006 but anyways, i think this topic came from a combination of sleep deprivation and being bored at work O_o If it makes you feel any better I royally suck when I get home from work (I know...have a field day scuba) and I usually only start getting into my groove when I have to go to bed again...I'm also bored out of my mind at work right now...I've been randomly connecting to people's wireless routers (there's about 15 in the vicinity of my office) and trying to suck their bandwidth....I tried getting CS running on my company laptop but 64mb video card has some serious issues (with loading steam logo )

JackieChan June 3, 2006 Share JackieChan GC Alumni June 3, 2006 It probably depends on who you play against. Me, I usually am dangerous when I'm able to get my AK. When I'm in the "zone", I can usually go like 25-4.. I gotta start playing again.

campkillyorself June 3, 2006 Share campkillyorself Member June 3, 2006 I play the 'best' when I come back from a break. Like, spend the whole day doing something else, and the next day I play good.
JackieChan June 4, 2006 Share JackieChan GC Alumni June 4, 2006 I play the 'best' when I come back from a break. Like, spend the whole day doing something else, and the next day I play good. Same with me. That's the thing everyone should do. If they play extremely bad constantly when they shouldn't be, they should take a day or two off from CS and then try again to see if it helps. When you suck at CS, you get stressed because you can't kill anyone which makes you even more unable to kill anyone because you're thinking negatively. A day or two usually helps you relax from the game so you can try again after the break.
