It was that or I killed a team mate and apologized too late. I just started playing a month ago or so and didn't know the rules very well. I have behaved much better lately, playing like a gentlemen. witt June 13, 2006 Share witt Member June 13, 2006 The admin will need your steam id in order to unban you. To get your steam id, you will need to open your console while playing. To do this, go into options, keyboard, then advanced, and make sure the "Enable Developer's Console" box is checked. Then, in a CS:S game, use your ~ key to open the console. Copy the number next to your name that looks like this: STEAM_0:0:12324 Once you've done that, paste the number into a reply here. Thanks for stopping by the forums. stutters June 13, 2006 Share stutters GC Alumni June 13, 2006 thx, but still not sure why you're banned. if you were banned for breaking one of our rules and aren't aware that's why you were banned, chances are you'll get banned again in the future. have you read our rules and standards? http://www.gamrs.co/htmlgc/joingcstandards.shtml did you click the big yellow banner up top? both of those might help jog your memory and avoid this from happening again in the future. honesty and respect goes miles around here. if you think you might have done something other than shoot a teammate or two, speak up and we'll move on. I probably acted immaturely in one of my rare moments of weakness. It happens when your only friend is a mariwana joint or a bottle of Corona. I'm better since I quit with the beer and am now concentrating on being high 7/24. As to my banning, again I apologize for any transgression. I would like to play again on your servers. stutters June 13, 2006 Share stutters GC Alumni June 13, 2006 what you do in your own time is your own business (i.e. getting wasted), but please don't bring it into the server with you. we run competitive servers, so if you want to chat, chat about how your team can work together to plant the bomb, protect the bombsites, resuce the hosties, etc. all the servers have the rules posted when you first connect (just before you select your team and model). if you play on west/immutable, you can read them again by typing 'rules' in your chat. again, we run clean and competitive pubs. since we were all new at one point, the competitive part has some leeway. the clean part doesn't. no swearing, porn sprays, or "man i'm soooo wasted." cool? i'll unban you once i get home from work unless another la wants to or a board member has a different opinion. IMO: I see the lack of sincerity in that answer..... almost as if he's mocking what GC stands for??? I thnk he needs a bit of off time and re-evaluate how he acts on our server seeing as how he is "high 7/24" the detox time should be a good 30days, but it's up to the big men upstairs on this one. The question could imply that being on drugs prevents someone from following rules because of the drug's influence. The question could also imply that since using drugs is breaking the law(rules), how can the GC community trust me not to break their rules? It was meant only as a joke when I wrote it and I apologize for offending anyone because of it. I won't use drugs while I'm on your servers and I will follow every other rule.
