CRAZY CHOKE!

Pope

Recommended Posts

So a few nights ago I was lagging like a dragon. Someone advised me to delete my auto exec file with my config in it to maybe improve my performance.

It didn't work!

Do I need a new auto exec?

Do the gods just dislike me or something?

My choke is constantly in the 35-50 range, as is my FPS. So what's the deal!?! :(

dear pope.

delete everything in your /cstrike/cfg directory. everything. create a new file called autoexec.cfg. put this stuff in it:

while your at it, right-click on your steam icon. go to settings. go to internet. make sure your correct internet speed is set. did you know 95% of users choke is due to this setting being incorrect?

launch cs, and reset your keys binds. make sure you enable developer console. start working your rates.

cl_cmdrate 25

cl_updaterate 25

adjust both settings (up or down) in steps of 10 until you find your sweetspot.

i still haven't heard an answer to my tree question, either.
