Playaa September 20, 2006 Share Playaa Member September 20, 2006 so...what would you say are the 5 Greatest Films (in your opinion) to ever be made? 5 Funniest? 5 Scariest? 5 Most Dramatic? What about 5 Best Soundtracks? in my opinion the 5 Greatest would be: 1) Braveheart 2) The Great Escape 3) Watership Down 4) Empire Records 5) I've got no clue. Leveller September 20, 2006 Share Leveller Member September 20, 2006 I think with probably more thought my list might change, but off the top of my head: Greatest: 1. Zulu 2. The Godfather I+II (a bit of a cliche, but I love them) 3. Where Eagles Dare 4. Labyrinth/The Princess Bride (they're here because you can sit and watch them with all the family and enjoy them whatever your age) 5. Saving Private Ryan Funniest: 1. The "original" Italian Job (some of the greatest lines and Benny Hill was at the top of his form on this one) 2. The Man with two brains 3. Office Space 4. Dirty rotten scoundrels 5. Shooting Fish or Monty Python Life of Brian/Holy Grail (can't pick between them although very, very different) Scariest .... not really my thing, don't mind them, but I prefer psychological thrillers than "scary" movies Dramatic: 1. Heat (not the best movie ever but has some fantastic set pieces) 2. Goodfellas (not sure if this fits in here) 3. Schindler's list 4. Shawshank Redemption 5. Memento
