Saris September 1, 2007 Share Saris Member September 1, 2007 Self-explanatory. I appreciate his intentions, but he goes about it completely the wrong way. COMPLETELY. I usually don't like to insult people's intelligence cause I'm no Harvard grad myself, but I vote epitome of stupidity. Do I really need to link to some of the things he e-mails to game developers and site hosts?
anonymo September 4, 2007 Share anonymo Member September 4, 2007 Who voted he has a point? He is trying to file a lawsuit against 2k games for running their ads for Bioshock during a prime time wrestling event (Smackdown to be exact). Still think he has a point? VooDooPC September 4, 2007 Share VooDooPC Member September 4, 2007 I would like too see a conversation between Jack Thompson and Uwe Boll. I think they wouldn't even talk, they would just grunt at each other like apes and bang their chests.
appalachian_fox September 4, 2007 Share appalachian_fox Member September 4, 2007 Hey, he DOES have a point a fair amount of the time. Nobody ever said it was a GOOD point. That wasn't my vote, though.

Tracid September 4, 2007 Share Tracid Member September 4, 2007 (edited) Uwe Boll would challenge Jacko to a boxing match and pwn him. Edited September 4, 2007 by Tracid
VooDooPC September 5, 2007 Share VooDooPC Member September 5, 2007 Jack Thompson would then sue EA saying Fight Night led too Uwe Boll's boxing addiction.
Saris September 5, 2007 Author Share Saris Member September 5, 2007 I voted stupidity only because of his methods. Like, when I look at Gears of war and Resident Evil 4 with blood spattering all over the screen with the chainsaws, I kind of just shake my head. I don't find it gross, I don't find it cool, so with all the hassle developers get over it, I wonder why they even bother. Cause you really have to ask yourself whether the amount of violence in a game is really a selling point at all? Both the games in my example still would've been amazing without the excessive violence. But like I said, just completely the wrong way and against the wrong people. I like the Uwe Boll comment, too. I lol'd.
