boiler November 14, 2008 Share boiler Member November 14, 2008 The multifunction linksys one Preach listed looks like a good option. Just be prepared to have to know a little about wireless networking (not a lot but a little). Being a refurb in a plain box, you will probably need to get documentation from Linksys for setup instructions if you need them. GLHF.

MrDuke November 15, 2008 Author Share MrDuke Member November 15, 2008 There seems to be a problem between the Vista PC, the printer connected to it and the network. Other PCs can't find the printer or, more specifically, maintain the found driver and/or connection. It'll work for a day or two, then *jeannie blink* *poof* no more functional print driver or connection.
stutters November 16, 2008 Share stutters GC Alumni November 16, 2008 does either your pc the printer is connected to or the printer itself have a sleep function? disable it. also, if possible, set your pc the printer is connected to to a static ip. don't forget to change your adult diaper, either. Similar issue with a Vista laptop here. All the rigs at home here are wireless'd, but at random intervals, the Vista laptop "vanishes" into thin air. She's sitting right next to me refreshing on the net, but according to my rig it is no longer there and I can't access it. But an hour later, it could be back.
