Unclean September 22, 2009 Share Unclean Member September 22, 2009 Do any of you access your home PC remotely? What software do you use? I'm running Windows Vista Business 64bit, and I'm looking for a way to log into a website where I can control my home PC. I won't be able to install anything on the computer acting as the terminal (running XP Pro). Any ideas? What works for you? Thanks in advance! ZeroDamage September 22, 2009 Share ZeroDamage Member September 22, 2009 Logmein.com is my best recommendation. They have a free version which is a fully functional remote desktop application.
Unclean September 22, 2009 Author Share Unclean Member September 22, 2009 Ok, I'll have to try that one out today. Thanks for the recommendation! Google just returns too many results sometimes, and I'd rather not install 4 different packages only to find out that they're all bloatware. [LaW]Maverick September 22, 2009 Share [LaW]Maverick Member September 22, 2009 Logmein.com is my best recommendation. They have a free version which is a fully functional remote desktop application. I was going to say the same exact thing--I have over 10 computers on my personal logmein account and we have every computer at our office also on logmein. It works really well, and it's very simple to use.

dragonfly September 26, 2009 Share dragonfly Member September 26, 2009 Slightly off topic, but didn't want to start a new thread for 1 or 2 answers: how about screen capture software? I'm not using my mac for this, or windows 7 atm, so I need a nice little program (free if possible). It's for teaching Excel to my students.
