Beat Hazard

Because of Steam's Treasure Hunt I picked up and installed Beat Hazard last night and had a blast. Here are my music recommendations.

 

Most Aqua songs work well.

Long form Classical does not. I have a 17min version of the 1812 overture, never got past 4min.

Hooked on Classic songs work well however.

bah only 3.3mil on my lunch break, I'll get to 3.7mil yet!

I can't get close to 4 million point on this game for survival. Any tips?

 

As for music, I've been playing mainly Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot since those drummers are constantly kicking = no down time.

Play the regular levels until you achieve elite rank. At that point you have a lot of starting goodies which helps a lot.

I got this a couple weeks back, it's a great time-waster. Got to 15:33 of survival mode with 19.9 million points. Think I was listening to Everclear or something, until I reached one of those tracks with about 45 seconds of silence before the hidden track...That'll mess you right up.

Same happened to me I was going through the Doors and ended up dieing when I got to Riders on the Storm

I was listening to "The End" by Black Eyed Peas and got 11min into it before losing. Boom Boom Pow is great for this game.
