ZeroDamage March 1, 2011 Share ZeroDamage Member March 1, 2011 Keep an eye out on Apple's website for Refurbished Macbooks. It's where I got my wife's last year for around 700 and she loves it. I think she loves that thing more than me.....

[LaW]Maverick March 1, 2011 Share [LaW]Maverick Member March 1, 2011 isn't "cheap Mac" an oxymoron? (couldn't help it, sorry) You might want to try private adds, like eBay or Craigslist--I honestly think that's your best bet for finding a "cheap" Macbook. Sometimes my brother gets inside info on them though, so I will keep an ear out for ya'.

samurai nightling March 2, 2011 Share samurai nightling Member March 2, 2011 Actually look for some store models, ones that were used as "window" models. They usually sell for a lot cheaper than brand new ones, but then again you also prolly need to get a new battery with them, thats what my sister had to do. amertrash August 29, 2011 Share amertrash Member August 29, 2011 I have an iBook G4 1.42Ghz 14" collecting dust, mid-2005 model running 10.5 that I'd happily sell if she doesn't mind something that old. If you're looking for newer and cheap I'd suggest getting a PC laptop and just putting OS X on it, just look at OSx86 for compatible models.
