Hats

Is there a hat list somewhere? I googled it but most of the results are useless. I know a few, and the one's that pop up on the command, but I'm looking for something unique.

When you type !hats, the list is the only available hats you can wear. Jackie may have the ability to add more models to this list, but I'm pretty sure they have to be an already existing model built in the game, and that is a question for him to answer because I do not know.

I do have the ability to add more, but the plugin creator said that some hats actually "prevent the use button from being used". What this means is that the hat gets in the way of whatever you're trying to use, doors, ammo piles, etc.

I've only ever seen the !hat command used in conjunction with an object name. Didn't know it brought up a list.

Yeah I realized tonight that the boomer face doesnt let me open doors.

Actually the !hats command does nothing for me in-game, but I can select a hat...seems everyone else can use it though. Not sure the issue there.

Why can't there be any infected hats?

They don't show up properly. It relies on coordinates based on the size of the player model.

Though I know sometimes if an infected gets a hat it will show when they are ghosted and later become a scenery object when they die

I could buy a hat and everything but I couldn't look at any type of list for them, just had to use one I'd seen used previously. No, I wasnt trying to use them as infected...if I don't know that by now, I deserve to be heckeled. I don't know. Hope I'm not just doing something silly but it's a pretty simple command..

heeeey that's right sometimes I can't open a saferoom door and i thought it was just a glitch.....dumb doll hat.

There's a bug I occasionally exploit. If at the beginning of a campaign, you start as survivor and put a hat on before the scramble. If the scramble puts you on infected, you'll still have a hat on. Only last for one spawn, but it never goes unnoticed.

i see that with people all the time and they run around with a hat in the air as they ghost
