ESEA BitCoin Botnet Scam

I had ESEA client for a very short while. Back then I played on my old laptop and I really felt that system runs much worse. So I uninstalled it almost immediately. For those who has strong system it might not be even noticible.

I believe GC can step in. :) (dream on, kid)

Basically ESEA was selling your CPU / to the world for usage if the client was left on and you weren't actually using it. Earning Bitcoins / which were being redeemed for cash... I think that sums it up. It was caught because Anti virus software started alerting users it was male-ware ... which it turns out it was...

ESEA client maxes out your GPU when computer is idle, to mine bitcoins.
