Girlzilla August 13, 2014 Author Share Girlzilla Member August 13, 2014 (edited) zilla- I got a new graphics card and have a pair of 6870s I don't need. interested? Thanks for offering Crasx, but if someone else is interested, it's OK. I already have one 6870, and I'd hate to only take one of yours if you can sell them higher as a pair. Plus I'm not sure, but I may upgrade too in a few months. I finally bought the SSD. Went with NewEgg's Samsung 840 PRO 256GB when it went on sale. I was nice enough to buy one for Jack, too, since I owe him a kidney or two. Edited August 13, 2014 by Girlzilla

Girlzilla August 13, 2014 Author Share Girlzilla Member August 13, 2014 There was a 500GB for like $200 on sale yesterday! I buy things impulsively. It's OK - you can buy that one for me, Onyx, and ship it!

walkingCat August 14, 2014 Share walkingCat Member August 14, 2014 Me too, I'd even take 256 Gb. Onyx is the man!
shaftiel August 14, 2014 Share shaftiel Member August 14, 2014 Onyx is the man! Don't jump to conclusions. Onyx could just be a large, chain smoking waitress down at the local pool hall. Shaftiel

Girlzilla August 16, 2014 Author Share Girlzilla Member August 16, 2014 (edited) Do I need to buy special brackets for the SSD? II didn't think to look what came with it. I have extra screws, but no bracket thingie for the drive bay thingie. Yah, thingie! Jack seems to think my case originally came with adjustor thingies, but I probably lost them! Is this a good one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817994162 Edited August 16, 2014 by Girlzilla
onyxdragoon August 16, 2014 Share onyxdragoon Member August 16, 2014 You don't need them really. If you have an extra bay you could have it lay in there. I just use electric tape and taped it to a bracket already in my case.

onyxdragoon August 17, 2014 Share onyxdragoon Member August 17, 2014 Rubber feet at the bottom of your case help with vibration.

Wolfsblood August 18, 2014 Share Wolfsblood Member August 18, 2014 No Walkingcat, it's all the earthquakes we get here in Ohio. 'Zilla, if you lost your ssd bracket that came with your case, just steal Jack's. He'll never notice it.
