gOOters August 14, 2003 Share gOOters Member August 14, 2003 sci-rex...I was a human guinnea pig, pain medication tests. by the time the meds get to that point, they are already extremely safe for us sapiens...they had already been tested on peeps before. funny thing is...I got a placebo (sugar pill!), and it STILL didnt hurt much, took some motrin a few hours later and I was good to go. Also, the surgeons they used were two of the best in TX. Only trick is...some people's wisdom teeth hurt more to get pulled (impacted, etc.). It went alright, cept for the power outage near the end of the surgery.
