linch December 3, 2003 Share linch Member December 3, 2003 I'm talking to my buddy whiplash @ work about COD... he downloaded the game to play it single player....and loves it. He mentioned that their is a option to change your CD Key on the multiplayer screen? Whats that all about? Also, whats the Minimum specs to play this game (not the box specs, but the specs you guys find is really pushing this game to be playable)

[Mmmm]Homer December 3, 2003 Share [Mmmm]Homer Member December 3, 2003 Thanks Fatty. Runs great on my XP2400+/512mb/GF4-Ti4600. I'm sure anything of at least 1.4ghz and GF3/Radeon 8500 level would run fine.
Ak2786 December 3, 2003 Share Ak2786 Member December 3, 2003 It runs great on my gf2 mx 100/
linch December 3, 2003 Author Share linch Member December 3, 2003 Anything on that cd-key thing...any one recall seeing it on your multi player page? Whiplash could just be blowing smoke out of his butt But I thought I'd look into the purpose of having that there and why you could actually change your cd-key.....as he explained it to me
Bubblegum Bandit December 3, 2003 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member December 3, 2003 I'm not at home at the moment, but it seems like I remember seeing that. I will check when I get home. One other thing that seemed kinda strange to me, was that inside my retail CD case there are two CD-Keys, What's up with that?
dwEEziL December 3, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member December 3, 2003 Maybe one is for the SP game and the other is for MP?

Kenger December 4, 2003 Share Kenger Member December 4, 2003 Fatty posted the minimum requirements on another post. It was a little hard to read but you might try there unless someone already gave you a list.
SemperFi December 4, 2003 Share SemperFi Member December 4, 2003 maybe it enables you to use a different cd-key than the one your currently using. like if u have 2 copies or sumthing? im just guessing. maybe its sort of like that counterstrike cdkey changer thing to swap from cdkey to cdkey if u own more than one copy. Bubblegum Bandit December 4, 2003 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member December 4, 2003 That's what I thought too Dwez, but it did not require another CD key when I went from playing SP to MP.

dwEEziL December 4, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member December 4, 2003 Found the following at the CoD.org forums. There doesn't seem to be a response from someone who actually knows, but it does give some possible reasons for it. http://www.callofduty.org/forums/showthrea...ight=two+cdkeys
