  1. Just thought I'd bring some awareness to European CSS, this guy called sp00n is my hero. He has some amazingly quick reactions and wonderful 1 shot kills in his video. Theres no editing, so watch it for the frags. Hes proven at i28, the UKs biggest lan, so although his aim looks artificial - it is not! Enjoy http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...502&q=sp00n
  2. no matter how many complicated designs there are, they will never fail to fly around in a circle and then hit you in the face
  3. Hello, Is it possible for third parties to download things onto my computer via programs like bearshare, limewire, utorrent, or just access it by the fact I have the internet? I've found some unwanted files that I have not given permission to be on my computer in the hidden system files whilst searching for things on my computer. I have a wireless internet, but its WAP protected so surely people can't access my computer through that without knowing the code? I dont have anything too personal on the computer, just holiday photos and a few phone numbers of friends. Is it possible for these to be shared? I'm particularly worried that if random things are being downloaded, what happens if in the future racist/peadophillic content starts appearing, although I totally wouldn't allow this onto my computer. (not that this is severe as the above example) What action can I take to prevent things getting into my computer? I did a spyware search (21 things found), virus (1 virus found) and adware (30 things found), i have windows firewal running :S I've had things like p2p programs and bittorrent before and this has never happened, besides, I've only downloaded like 1 thing off each program - nothing excessive. Please help, bigbones
  4. Hello, A friend is making a video for our rowing club sports night at university, we play it infront of the whole uni's sporting teams, each club does a video every month. The current theme for this years rowing club video is the ghost busters film. Havent got time to download the whole film, but I've found a site with clips on http://www.movieweb.com/movies/film/87/2287/video.php As you can see if you click on the link to watch a particular clip, the clip will play in windows media player/real player, but won't save to the actual computer. Is there anyway I can save the clip to my computer, so it could be used for editing? Prefably a nice and simple method/program, I don't particularly want to use fraps. My friend is a girl who does not know too much about computers so I'll need something thats not too difficult! Any help appreciated as usual, cheers, bigbones
  5. Have any of you got anti-pollution masks? I know the pollution in London is terribly bad, and I get annoyed when I cycle behind massive lorries and buses coughing up loads of pollution into my lungs. Are anti-pollution masks effective? This one costs about as much as gc membership, with 3months of filters (need changing every month)
  6. I've recently started cycling to college and back twice a day, each time takes roughly 15minutes to get there along a pretty straight road so i can cycle hard and fast. Its actually quicker for me to cycle to college than to catch the bus (i usually over take a couple of buses) and if you add up the time it takes to park a car its equally as quick as driving. After cycling for two weeks I've basically noticed a thinner waist line and a reduction on the scales, without putting much effort into motivating myself to exercise, as getting to and from college doesn't seem like a chore it just seems like something I have no choice about so I get on and do it. My basic message, is that if you live within a 40minute cycling radius of your place of work/college, you should seriously try cycling as it has so many health benefits, both in terms of keeping trim and keeping fit. You can also keep thin and fit, without having to take extra time in your daily lives to go about exercising because your naturally doing it whilst transporting yourself to and from work/study places. Other positivies include being environmentally friendly and saving money that would be spent on bus/gas. Negatives for me so far: -At the moment as I'm still getting fit I'm tending to sweat a fair amount which could be a problem if you dont have a change of clothes or a jumper to hide the sweat marks. -For me, I'm a newb on the roads so its hard going with all the cars bossing me about and beeping etc -In the first few weeks of cycling you'll need to work on getting your average pace well up so you can accelerate quickly at lights and move quicker on the roads, which basically means your less of annoyance to drivers and you can get to your destination quicker. It takes commitment to build up the relevant muscles but it pays off after a month. So hopefully some of you will consider taking a bike, look up a route and give it a try, as its benefitted me a lot and I know there are people out there that may also find this useful. Theres no need to reply unless anyone wants to ask any questions or give tips, but I hope it helps!
  7. Ouch! Isn't that a bit harsh? Bones has been MIA for a while...mostly due to, I assume, massive hangovers...the tone speaks volumes here. I'm only joking allanon, but hey, it wouldn't it be funny? Imagine just turning 21 and ....opppps... stupid post..... say good bye to legal drinking for another year. I'll shut up before I end up in wonderland I did the most stupid thing whilst I was sober, I did a wonderful speech and im now the captain of my universities rowing club. I won't even begin telling you the amount of time its taken out of my social life and css life (lol lost first cal-euro match 30-0 - although the clan do have like a zillion sponsors). I read some of the topics in the forums but havent really felt the need to contribute much lately so I have been AWOL. I'm still alive, just waiting till someone breaks both my legs so I'm crippled and can claim state funding for the rest of my life and just play css till the end of my days.
  8. I hope you loose a year of your life for doing this
  9. At what time on the video does the rocket fire?

  12. Bah this game is starting to annoy me now, I've just come across another glitch that wont let me get to the rank of champion in the fighters guild. Managed to find a console command to skip the mission though. This website is proving to be very helpful if any body else is stuck. Below the walkthrough guides are user comments that are usually about glitches that occur during certain quests and some clever sod has helped out with a nifty console command
  13. Searched around for 2 hours (have absolutely nothing to do at my parents house) and found this: player.setstage mg07leyawiin 100 Havent tried it yet but hopefully it works.
  14. Hi guys + girls, I'm trying to join the mages guild and have so far obtained about 3 recomendations, but when it come to the Leyawiin recomendation I believe I've ran into a bug. I've found the old ladies amulet after doing the quest, and have returned to the guild hall to try and give it to her, but the stupid cow won't allow me to give it to her. Everytime I talk to her she just has he same chat options as she did before I started the quest. I know I have the correct amulet because a few other people in the hall congratulate me for finding this amulet and tel me to give it to dagil (if thats her name) but its not working :'( I've even reduced myself to stripping infront of her and only wear the amulet but she still doesnt seem to notice it... I mean, talk about a loss of dignity! So what shall I do? Are there any cheats that I can use that will automatically allow me to enter the mages guild or something along them lines? I dont really want to miss out the whole mages guild experience because being an imperial warrior i dont havent really picked up many spells, so the mages guild would help
  15. I can't believe four people voted for portugal! you guys make me sick
  16. i'd be interested if a reading list was set (e.g. one book each month) then we get together and discuss the book.
  17. Also, everyone should get their name on the GC froogle thingy!! I'm too lazy and underpaid to put up a link, so please dont shoot me
  18. I'd quite like to see one of them fish slap him across the face so he topples over and ends up in the water
  19. yea this is an amazing video! Kind of gets annoying when you watch him spraying, go into a server trying to do what he does, then find out it totally fails I managed to do a cheaper version of the 'drop awp pick it up and kill' trick that he does after my 5th time of trying Nice video, brilliant editing
  20. Dunno, but I used gc teamspeak a couple of weeks ago when our teamspeak went down
  21. They are cheating scumbags, I hate them with a passion!!
  22. $1,000,000,000 ? edit - you may be interested to know that this post was not actually an offer in english law. i guess this is the first valuable point outside the classroom i've made after a year of study! w000t
  23. portugal v holland had 16 yellows and 4 reds i believe!!! England are playing portugal next round so its good that they have some players like deco not playing against us in the match!! Theres going to be a lot of tension in this match as they knocked us out of euro2004 in a penalty shoot out. They also cheated aswell, because they hosted the tournament and bodged up the penalty spot by filling it with sand. Beckham went to take a penalty and due to the way he kicks the ball and the crappy sand on the spot the ball went miles over.
  24. I'm personally quite happy that the refs are clamping down on bad challenges, I quit playing this game because 2 years in a row i got injured for 3 months after working extremely hard on my game during pre-season. It only takes 1 studs up challenge for a guy to be out for months, an example was against Ronaldo (i think) in the brazil game where you saw the red stud marks on his legs, if his foot had been firmly on the ground it would have broke his legs. So far the refeering has been quite good, but I'd personanally like to see players who dive get huge fines and yellow cards because they are hackers P.S. I've just jinxed England now becuase i bet in the next few games the ref gets everything wrong
