  9. That's a good tangent. You remember what happens to folks who start the wrongful accusin' doncha? *reveals chewy hog tied in the closet*
  10. Punch Drunk Love - "I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine." plenty others, this one just popped in my head. and that reminds me of another, lol: Ghostbusters - "What did you do Ray?" "It just... popped in there..."
  11. Add Cobalt and I to the list. I read through this, and have been watching Battlestar Galactica as of late. I was like "hmm.. Firefly.." well, my guildmates on WoW also happened to bring it up, and had nothing but good things to say about it. For example, "worth buying on DVD". That says a lot. I also found out that Firefly used the same effects company as Galactica, and I love the effects in Galactica. So, long story short, we have "procured" Firefly, and are about 4 episodes in. Absolutely...Awesome.
  12. Wow. I absolutely loved this movie, as did my roommate. Did you like Rushmore or The Royal Tenenbaums? I thought the plot was very unique and off the wall (which = very good in my book), the comedy was top notch! a superb line up for actors who did a beautiful job. We're talking Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anejelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, and Jeff Goldblum. And there was this Brazillian fellow, Seu Jorge, who was playing acoustic covers of David Bowie all throughout the movie. It was hilarious!! As for the special effects and cinematogrophy; these were also very unique and bizarre, and added to the overall mood of the film. It was a comedy bordering on dark comedy. It was totally bizarre, which made me love it that much more.
  13. I was there as well. Sol was doing a service to us all. Thanks Sol.
  14. haha, to tell the truth the only gundam I've watched completely is gundam seed, but it sounds like you know your way around them. a buddy of mine has seen a lot of the other series, and I've seen snippets of them as well. even with that, his favorites series (of all anime by the way, not just gundam) is gundam seed. so definitely check it out if you like gundam.
  15. yeah I've seen the first two eps on the series now, and I am very impressed. I really hope they keep this show going.
