Unlikely to own any of the three for solely my own use, I will probably get one of the three however for when I have friends over. It's just a lot less hassle to plug in an extra controller than to get friends to cart over pc's assuming we all have the same games. I've never really played console games for the single player (GTA and Gran Turismo aside), and where I think they have value is the group entertainment factor, rather than being a direct competitor to a PC where gaming is concerned. If I had to pick one, I'm a bit of a die hard Sony fan having had a PS1 and PS2, but it's been ages since I used my PS2 and will probably go for the 360 just because it'll be there for those parties running up Chrismas.

Guess at the curator one: The "man" is curator of a different museum and has destroyed his own art, making the original curator's more valuable/popular with the public.

An added degree of realism with shotguns and pistols, if I lose 90% health from a shottie 150 yards away too much more often, I might just move to DOD full time (although played the COD2 demo, looks awesome). Oh, and capture the flag would be a welcome addition.

I only really moved to track and field after I smashed up my shoulder pretty badly playing rugby (1 week before trials with Bath RFC and 2 weeks before the endurance course for my university scholarship with the Royal Marines which might mean something to our British members ). I'm just confused what the rest of the team were doing, if all the oposing side were stuck in their spawn and couldn't get out, wouldn't the round be over quite quickly with people running about capturing flags with no resistance. Maybe I'm not seeing the point here, but I can't believe people were stuck in their spawn for so long it was really that much of an issue. In all, I think the whole thing's a bit of a non issue, I agree that if you're wearing GC tags then you shouldn't be an donkey when out and about in other servers, but it doesn't appear like they were to me. Just sounds like someone whining they kept getting shot by the nasty man and his big gun. Lev

Speaking of maps, there was a map set in a kitchen that we played non stop for about 3 hours late into the night a couple of Saturday's ago, reminded me of "freakin big house" from SOF2. Wondering if I've just missed it being on the server at all since then. Was a great map, good fun and wondering if I'm alone in these thoughts or if it could be considered for addition to the rotation. Lev

I installed these new drivers two days ago and have now rolled back to my old ones. Every Source game I've played (be it DOD or CS) ran fine and looked great but would randomly lock up, and tell me HL2 had a fatal error on my 6800GT. No such problems on the old drivers I'm pleased to say. Lev

I did have this a couple of times, but restarts of steam solved it. Another problem I'm getting is on DOD:S, in fact, the GC server specifically. I've tried joining numerous times, but the server becomes unavailable, I refresh my favourites list and watch the ping rise to 2000 or the status disappear altogether. The GC server is the only one I've had this problem with (yes I hang my head in shame and admit going to other servers to try out DOD:S). Any solutions or ideas what the problem may be would be much appreciated. Lev.

The wife games anyway, but she's told me that "I'm not taking my desktop all the way up there", which I think is a subtle hint that she wants a laptop, either that or she has other plans up her sleeve, ones that will no doubt cost me a small fortune.

Duma, my wife's also considering going, we'd be heading up from Cinci as well, so if she wanted to get to know at least one before we got there, we could share a ride? Lev.

It's not ABX air or whatever their name is that your offer is from? The freight people ....... I hear a rumour that every person who lives in Wilmington has worked for them at some time or another. That's about the only thing I know about Wilmington, but it's meant to be very pretty and it's just off 71 about 15 minutes north of where I work.

Same problem with the brightness, I've looked all over for a solution but to no avail. I know this doesn't really solve the problem, more of an additional plea to see if someone knows what to do about it. Lev.
