When I try to log on I get an error saying the server was unable to verify my steam ID with the steam authentication server, 35. Anyone know what I can do about this?

I have tried to kick start the DOD servers a few times but it is alot harder than CS. DOD isn't much fun at all until you get 7-10 people on each team. That can take a long time.

My mom had a similar problem at a workshop for MS office bout ten years ago. It still gets brought up occasionally.

I am with bigbone on this one. Even if they aren't wearing their tag some people obviously know them as GC. Besides this is just lame. If they really wanted to see if it could be done or not they should have gone into an empty server. And if they didn't there are plenty of place you can set up an mg and own from(like awping) without using a boost exploit(more like speed hacking). The map designers obviously put those barriers there for a reason, so boosting over them has to be consicered an exploit of the game limitations. I don't think I would boost someone over the barrier. It would be like if an admin teleported one team to the other teams spawn as they were running out and they were unexpectedly gunned down from behind. Just an opinion.

I think you guys should run the Packetloss_max 0 command in console, it cleared it up for me.

I wondered if anyone knew the auto exec commands to change the advanced video settings on start up. I am manually changing them every time I play.

I think we should cut 4 and 6 out but leave 5 in. It is great and if the other servers are full I'm sure people don't mind spending a few rounds in there waiting for an opening. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about the #5, and a lot of GC people are in there whenever I am.

see there is 21 minutes between the post and the reaction. Not to mention time between the infraction and the post. I am not saying admins aren't doing a great job. When you think about it that is a pretty good reaction on their part. It's just that it plays havoc on the server.

Fisrt a person has to be warned. Then someone has to get so fed up with it they are willing to minimize the game, take a few afk deaths and come to the forums to type a message to an admin. Then wait for a response. There are admins around usually, and they do react surprisingly fast, but that is still often ten minutes or more. the whole process takes around 20-25 minutes and has a tendency to mess up te 'flow' of the server. Everytime I play in the early morning the server is in shambles. maybe if there was a way to contact the admins faster that would help. Does the @ sign communicate with all the admins or just ones in that server? IS there a communal AIM sn the admins all use? like GCAdmin? Do admins retroactively ban for posts even if they don't witness behavior?

Here at GC #2 we believe in a scopeless server. A society without magnification and its negative effects such as stat stratification, and gross camper gratification. A place where all players are guaranteed their chance to view their opponent before execution. This should be put on as a message in the server. lol, J/K... sort of

give some of the none admins that play at obscure times kick with time abilities, plz.

I have always used nvidia. Never had a problem. Ever. Bought a 9800 pro to hold me over 'til I get a new system with pcie, thing is junk. Runs bf2 well but cs runs like crap on it, when my old geforce four could handle source with ease.

amen brother, that viewsonic is what I use. The only piecce of equipment I bought new.
