I think that is a step in the right direction. The funny thing will be if PTBx randomly autoforces and stacks a side then people will complain about that,"PTBx sucks". Someone needs to build autojoin that bases it on previous stats/rank compared to map and what side is harder based on previous win history. Example players Rank 1-10 on aztec put T side Rank 1,3,5,7,9 and CT side 2,4,6,8,10. It seems like the end goal is balance to keep people happy. dEL

I like it but I dont think a lot of people do. People like to say its so unbalanced yet when aztec, dust or italy has the same result nobody is complaining. Weird.

I know I like it but I dont think everyone does. People like really easy standard maps. There brains cant handle more than 2 options to run. Im J/K. To me its similar to italy except not as easy to defend. Vote for yes from me.

To start getting traffic back to the west why dont we gc members, future members and all other gc fans/regulars plan 1 to 2 nights a week where we all play. I know people dont like to join empty servers but we gc members can start it then hopefully the rest will follow. This is just an idea, if you like it or not let me here some feedback. 9 pm MST is the earliest I can play during the week because I work until then. dEL

It wouldnt work for me either, I deleted my files as well and redownloaded it from the server and it still wouldnt let me join.

Last night when it switched to de_losttemple_pro it kept saying my version was different. So I did a search on my computer for all de_losttemple_pro files and deleted. Rejoined and downloaded the map again from the server and it still said my version was different. I just wanted to add why customs keep cs:s fresh. I know its fun and easy to play old maps they have been around 5-8 years but it gets old and sometimes causes stacking, same camp spots every round, repetitive play, etc. It's nice playing on a map where you dont know what to expect around every corner, you dont know every great camping spot. Custom maps really help keep my interest to want to play for hours and hours. Ofcourse there will be bad customs at times but we can get rid of them at that time. I have some maps I would like us to try shaft. You want me to message you or post here? dEL

We played tonight a lot of customs and it was a good time. Thx for those who played last night. Customs that were good. de_maya de_archive cs_china_v2 de_dust2_unlimited We played some others but these stood out to me and I had the most fun playing. The maps that did help generate more ppl are css_deagle5 or whatever and cs_assault. Maybe we could get a custom assault map added. We averaged 8-10 ppl thru a lot of customs. Not too bad. Its a start.

I played GG on the West yesterday for a few hours and it is fun but it seemed like it was hard to get ppl on and for them to stay. I do prefer GG over zombie though. I do like how the GG is setup as well with the 3 kill per weapon, I havent played it that way anywhere. dEL It's easier to run something with 32 players. Many that just like to kill are drawn to the large servers. We could do something like that if I knew we had the funding (if I knew all current GC were renewing, it would be easy to forcast). If GG doesn't take, we can look at that option. What about combining server funds, rather than have 2-3 servers in the west combine funds for 1 32 man server or something like that? Like the 24/7 D2 aim lab and west server? Just an idea. dEL

I personally think if you want traffic you would make West an all custom map or atleast have a lot of custom maps. Recrudensce to me as well seems much more of a server I rather play than the west now. Some of the stock maps have been around like 8 years. There are numerous custom map only servers out there that get a lot of traffic. A player can find thousands of servers that play dust2, italy, aztec etc. They cannot find as many servers that play custom maps. I would like to see a gc server like these guys 66.150.164.210:27015 AHP, there like a pub clan or community similar to ours i think, all custom maps, and its pretty clean, not as clean of a server as ours but still relatively clean. The map line up is very nice, a lot of customs I have never seen or played before. At night this server is packed too and decent numbers in the day. GG is fun for a little bit but I also agree it gets old after a little bit. Theres my 2 cents. dEL

Im not sure what other people like but I think gun game turbo is much better than standard. Some other good customizations are the order the guns are given to you. Some servers I play start you with the most powerful guns and work your way down to knife and nade and I have played some the opposite.

I like all maps except for italy, aztec, dust. I think there over played and unbalanced. I prefer port, tides, compound, customs etc. for the reason there not played as much and I think there is a lot more to learn on those maps as far as strategy and shooting positions. I think the regular maps ppl basically camp in the same places for the most part which makes it feel like you have done this too many times with the same result. Some of the less played maps and customs just have a more refreshing feel to cs and I dont get bored as quickly. There are a few times when more of the good ppl stack on the harder side on the map that can make it more fun at times for the maps like dust, aztec, and italy but those are few and far between. Theres my 2 cents dEL

I like mookie's list. de_kismayo is more balanced then cs_kismayo which makes it better. dEL

I was on this texas server and I didnt even have that good of record but i was pwning some of them. Everyone started accusing me of cheating. I told them the server I play on and said sometimes I get pwned too. They said they would stop by and pwn us all so beware.....lol. Its been a long time since I have been accused of cheating.
