  1. just so happens I needed another 80 GB drive, so i went ahead and ordered it. thanks for the heads up.
  2. i might have an older one... I will look around for it.
  3. seriously... in this small group of people that we have in this community, do you think any of us will make a difference in the bottom line of Sony or Microsoft???? Buy what you want, or what you love... you have all made your points clear. Personally, I've owned a ps, ps2 and xbox, and have never had a single problem with ANY of them. You drag up Beta of all things... seriously, you want to compare product lines between Microsoft and Sony... okay... Microsoft has declared one day a month as a PATCH day for all the defects in their software... seriously... Microsoft has no ground to stand on if you go outside the game consoles. Even if you take away the patch day, lets not mention Windows ME... come on now, is anyone going to say that was a good idea?? Comparing the PS2 to the 360, you just can't... the 360 has had some issues, and I'm sure the PS3 WILL have some issues... but don't judge it based on what COULD or MIGHT happen... let it fail, then laugh at it... it's easier. k, i'm done now. 8)
  4. i'm a ps fanboi... and I will be buying a xbox this year yet... sony just doesn't have "it" anymore.
  5. while I do plan on doing SLI in the future, and want that board, I can't bring myself to spend 250 on a board. I would say lower...
  6. Looking at building another system for myself. I keep putting this off, and I'm thinking I should just go ahead and do it. what mother board, power supply, and case do you all recommend for a core 2 duo 6600, with some kind of nvidia vid card...?? money, reasonable... I don't need a 250.00 dollar MB... something that I can do a SLI setup down the road, and raid some drives... taht is really all I am looking for. Cujo, you can just put your thoughts here, and ignore my pm... thanks for the help. 8)
  7. i have the same one from a year ago as well... they do retail for 50. thanks!
  8. Hey gang, I have a brand new, used once for 6 hours Linksys Wireless Router. Model WRT54G v.6 I bought it with intent to use it for my gf's family, but that plan has changed... so, I used it for six hours. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c...FVisitorWrapper that is the product page. $35 plus shipping. thanks Ben
  9. I tend to like the dell monitors, but they are over priced. Then again, I got a hook up... my company buys dell. 8) Black Friday, best buy will have the Westinghouse 22" WS on sale for 200.00 It has all the connectors that you would want or need. http://www.westinghousedigital.com/details.aspx?itemnum=60 granted, I know nothing about their quality... just an option for ya.
  10. For the record that's the motherboard my company put in all our new PCs...and I play CSS from work on a daily basis, with tweaking I stay about 50fps at all times...works great! (I was thoroughly surprised) and yes I use the integrated VidCard Thanks for the feedback mo... still have some time to think about it. I might just pony up some additional funds to get a different motherboard, and vid card... but still thinking about it.
  11. that is what i was figuring... got them already... just need the box. thanks though. 8)
  12. not bad... I like it.. but in all seriousness, what kind of graphic capability does that onboard have? I've never been a fan of on board video... I do like the rest though. I had forgotten about that case, same one you recommended for my sis's pc, and it worked out great. just not sure about the video...
  13. for xmas, I am building a pc for my parents... some light gaming on it for medieval 1 and 2. Of course I have a somewhat tight budget for this... 500 give or take 100. so it isn't going to be a monster system. so here is my thoughts, let me know what you think.
