  1. Yeah. I'll get them all when I get home from work.
  2. I use 5.1 and I haven't had any problems with it.
  3. Ok wait. Juan, why are you using iTunes in the first place? You do know that there is a Winamp plugin (and it is built into the latest winamp version) that allows you to sync up your iPod right? So no need for stupid iTunes to ever be installed on your system again cause you can just <3 Winamp all day long.
  4. I think if you buy it direct it is like $50 but you can find it on ebay for cheaper then that most of the time. You don't need the cable just the software. The cable is just a standard USB->Mini USB cable which you can buy off the net or from a store for like $4. With the software you could also use "other methods" to "procure" it.

  6. What you need to get Lunk is a program called Motorola Phone Tools, currently version 4. I actually own a Cingular RAZR myself and that is what I use for all my ringtones. You can actually move .mp3 files directly to the phone to use as ringtones. The software also includes an audio editor so you can cut down the ringtones. You can also make custom backgrounds and themes and use it to back up all of your contacts. It also synchronizes your phone with outlook and scheduler and all that fun stuff. If you have a laptop you can also link Phone Tools to your phone and use it as a modem to connect to the internet.
  7. Seems like one of the more likely cases in this situation.
  8. If you are going to do overclocking you can upgrade the cooling on your NB but if your fan just stopped working then you can just replace it with stock.
  9. I still use winRAR personally but 7z is a pretty good alternative if you don't have winRAR
  10. It isn't ghetto it is just black. I think it looks freaking awesome and if I needed a new laptop I would have to consider buying one.
  11. Somehow the executable path was messed up and that is why it wasn't working properly.
  12. I am always on the lookout for new hard drives so if you guys have any hard drives you want to part with let me know.
  13. Hehehhe...that's kind of important. My bad for that omission guys, It is PCI-E.
  14. The All New Blackbook The iBook replacement that comes in black. I don't know about you guys but I'm going to get mine with twenty fo's and diamond grillz
  15. Heheh...I don't think that X800 is going anywhere any time soon.
  16. I have some GoDaddy pages and the price is pretty good but their Customer Service sucks a lot. 1and1 is also a popular hosting company that is pretty much neck and neck with godaddy in terms of price and overall size Lunar Pages is one that one of my friend hosts with and he loves their service. I don't personally have any experience with them but if I was personally in the market for a page I would trust his judgement cause he does a lot of web dev work.
  17. Unless you plan on watercooling whatever one came there is fine. If yours broke then just get on the motherboard manufacturer's website and order one.
  18. I was thinking about making buy macros and doing what you did anonymo but I hadn't had more time to mess with it yet. I spent a good portion of this morning at work so far reading the g15 forums and I think the bound path to my executable might be wrong but I can't try it until I get home. I did find a really cool lcd setup for Trillian and another one for CSS so I'll definitely let you guys know if they work well and post em up if they do.
  19. Normally it is about 2 inches away from the bottom right of the processor mount at a 45 degree angle. IE, Processor Mount lower right corner _| North Bridge It is generally somewhere around that area and then the southbridge is below that. Most motherboards come with a NB that is already cooled.
  20. In terms of getting information off the drive if necessary you have a few options. You can get the linux distro KNOPPIX or the windows program Winternals. Both of these programs are full operating systems contained on cds so you can boot to them and back up information from your hard drive before the reimage. Windows XP installation will allow you to format but make sure you bring the same version as the COA on the bottom of the laptop. If you have to call Microsuck to activate it make sure you tell them you are installing for the first time.
  21. I do not think the CNPS7700-cu will interfere with anything on your motherboard. Here is the blurb about the Freezer 64 from my company's website; "Extremely Quiet - The low speed 92 mm fan of the Freezer 64 Pro reduces the noise level to a minimum. The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 92 mm fans. Powerful Cooling - The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro uses 6 Heat Pipes (three used double sided) and is able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt. The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air. Integrated Cooling of Voltage Converters - Air is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU. Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom. Patented Vibration Absorption - The four rubber connectors on the fan case act as a vibration damper to absorb the vibration of the running fan. This can reduce significant vibration between plastic fan case and heatsink. Easy Installation - The cooler is to install without any tools within seconds." It has heatpipes as well as the Big Typhoon.
  22. If you do a repair installation windows runs all the system files through a check operation with the information on the cd. If any of the system files on your machine do not pass this check operation they are replaced with the ones from the cd. Just so you know before you do this, Windows XP repair operations work about 50% of the time and there always ends up being some problem down the road. My advice if that drive is still viewable would be to get all your data off while you still can and then do a clean install.
  23. Do what rev said and check all the capacitors on your motherboard, video card, and power supply. They normally have X like etchings on the top and should be perfectly flat. If any of them are even so much as bulged up that component should be replaced.
