For the record, I also decided against getting L4D2 after witnessing all the drama associated with the GC server. I play games to relax and have fun, not deal with incessant childish nonsense. Unfortunately, this game as well as the success and popularity of the GC server seem to make avoiding said nonsense quite difficult. {/rant]

Hey Laz! Yeah, Left For Dead 2 brought in TONS of new members. They mostly keep to their own section of the forums, although every once in a while one slips out of their cage and posts up in the big-boy/girl sections.

I didn't check minecraft.net. I'm too busy to bother with such frivolities. Also, I am able to get in the server now.

Thanks for the update! Is anyone else having connection issues? I have tried to log in several times over lunch today and was getting connection errors, stream ended, etc.

Thanks guys, I got things sorted and was playing for a while last night As soon as I downloaded a 1.4.2 jar, FK updated the server to 1.4.5, so I had to delete everything again anyway. We need moar peoples playing again!

Sooo.... 1.4.5 just came out, and our server is still 1.4.2. Is Bukkit still that behind? I just added Minecraft to this computer, and now I'm on the most recent version. Downloaded the launcher thingy from earlier in this thread, but don't have a 1.4.2 .jar

I'm on my second Android phone now, and am very happy with it. That said, I'm very intrigued by WP8. I haven't ever laid hands on one, mostly because I'm with Verizon and until recently they haven't had ANY WP8 devices to speak of. I will be investing in a Windows 8 device in the coming months, and the integration potential seems awesome.

I popped into the new server for the first time last week. Was awfully quiet and lonely in there with no one else on.

Just Cause 2 is such an awesome game. The story is complete nonsense, but my god is throwing that grappling hook around satisfying.

On the TV front, the only really good deals I've seen have been 55"-60" from BestBuy. They weren't the super thin LEDs, but they were LED lit. They had some smaller ones (40" Toshiba, 1080p, 120Hz) around $500-$600 I think.

I would guess for the majority of folks on these boards, he is but a mythical creature - only spoken of in hushed voices and heresay. I reckon that there are some, though, that have seen him in the flesh - they are merely reticent to recount any encounters.
