  1. Go back to Canada, eh.
  2. NorgmaN

    Bye

And Vovik shall rage quit another day!!!
  3. 10/10 I don't like WoW at all, my brother showed me this years ago (haven't seen it since, the WoW version that is). Good re-enactment Leeroy coulda been louder...
  4. User: NorgmaN Games: Madden 10, LBP, Burnout Paradise, Street Fighter 4. All about the Madden right now if anyone wants to play!!! If you add me, let me know in a message, I delete people I don't recognize!
  5. These are the "big" differences. I got W7Pro, works like a champ. Has a couple of extra goodies, may never use any of it, but you never know. Personally after getting Vista Ultimate for my Laptop, I was kinda disappointed. Went from WinXP Pro to Win7Pro today, clean install runs flawless. More happy is here!
  6. “Release to Manufacturing†(RTM) for Windows 7
  7. Probably System restore and shadow copies, there is also something to do with RAM depending on how much you have. If you get rid of system restore, and delete all of the backups it could be about 10gigs or more. If you have lots of RAM it has storage for the same amount put on your HD, I can't remember what for, but I have seen it before. Do a google search and you'll find it pretty quick.
  8. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that is normal, it goes down when your not using it to "save" energy, and goes up to normal when you use 3d apps or something graphically 'intense'. CPU's do the same thing.
  9. Never had a WD Drive break on me. Did you throw it at your sister?
  10. Running SLI? That is my problem in some games. TF2 CSS both messed up w/ SLI so I just turn it off and it works fine. Crysis CoD4 work fine in SLI.
  11. I would put in the 2nd drive, format it, then if you want backup the c drive onto the d/e. Then start to copy stuff over etc, and if it breaks, you have your backup, and if not.. well you still have your backup. Personally, I use 2 drives, 1 is 80gb raptor that is my C, and a 500gb standard for everything else. I only install stuff on the main drive, and everything else, movies, music, games, backup files all goes on the d drive. Then of course for super protection, I have a 500gb external that has a backup of all the stuff I do not want to lose on my 500 internal. There are many ways to go about this. I would suggest going about it without trying to be too tricky as Window's does not like that.
  12. After you format the drive into 2 partitions, you can move files to 'E' that is fine. But moving working programs/games to another 'D' drive can be complicated. Some programs don't care, others will not run at all. It is better to uninstall/reinstall your programs onto the new drive, but it won't hurt to try and copy/paste to the new drive, and if it doesn't work then you will know if you need to just re-install. Makes sense? Don't know about the Vista thing. Copy/Paste FTW?
  13. I don't think TV's go down to 2ms unless you get a new LED one... I would do google search, should be easy to find.
  14. BTW, this is an UPGRADE copy of Win7, not a FULL copy of Win7. I would pre-order it otherwise...
  15. If your wanting Vista SP2, I believe all you need to do is run Windows Update and it'll ask if you want it... Of course you have to have Vista, not just download it like you can Win7. (And who has Vista anyway? losers) Yeah, the blurry started after RC1, but if I remember right, it does not happen if I install no driver, just let Win7 update the WDDM1.1 and that's it. So I think it's a Driver/Win7 combination problem. I've read that many people are not happy w/ the 185 driver. It is very slow, and obviously has bugs.
  16. Using latest NVidia drivers w/ SLI enabled, my screen starts shacking and wiggling when I get flashbang'd in CS:S. Anyone else have this problem? This does not exist when I turn Off SLI. (185.85)
  17. Get me one and I'll pay you back if its true
  18. He's going to try to pull that off at a party and break his neck. Post that one on the toob!!
  19. EVGA 780i SLI 2x 8800GT 4G ddr2 800 E8400 X-Fi Xtremegamer No dirvers except for the Sound card which came out with a Beta driver right before the release I believe. No problems at all. I did try the latest NVidia Beta Drivers and they are massively broken. Will wait for the next batch to come out. All games programs working like a charm.
  20. Now that it's a few months later. Did anyone get in on the market that was nothing? I did. And I'm loving every day since. I'm really interested in seeing who got in, and what you have gotten out of it, and I will brag after I see some posts
  21. A little more then you want, but for what you get..... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...mp;Tpk=ln40a650 I have one, and love it to death. Watched Super Bowl, NCAA, Movies, PS3 Bluray/Games, everything is in great color (I have calibrated it a little, so its not stock) and looks crisp as anything that cost thousands more. Noticed this is open box.. if that matters to you or not. There is a new version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16889102269 That has "better contrast" then the one I have, which I don't think you will notice.
  22. I know its out on torrent, I'd rather get it direct from MS... Especially since its the OS of my computer, and there will probably be some driver updates right after the RC1 comes out.
