I did this, and it wasn't without warning. I said at least 2-3 times to say who you were, and/or you're not in Mmmm, who are you?....something like that. And there was never a response. But anyways..... It'll get taken care of...

EQ doesn't even compare to Anarchy Online IMO. Anarchy is very cool. The musical scores and scenery are just too cool. It's been a few months since I've played it, but was addicted to it for a year. Certainly has some balancing issues, and PVP is a joke, but overall the game is very cool. Worth checking out.

Aztec3 seems like it'll be fun once everyone gets their bearings there. A lot of routes for the bomb to go, and good coverage areas for CTs. But not many have that map. Don't forget to stop by the Cage for the obligatory 8 kills.......you promised I think

ugh to Norton's...... Just had to remove that from a family members computer b/c it was acting all crazy and wouldn't configure right. You may get it to work, but try zone alarm from www.zonealarm.com. It's free for personal use, easily configurable, and really works.

Hopefully this kinda stuff is just due to the time of year. Everyone having to work less and therefore playing later - and New Years day was a slap fest with everyone being a little sauced. But I hear ya.......and a half dozen others.....complaining about this kinda stuff.

I'm with ya on that. When I restarted in September there was one particular server I used to go to a lot - b/c ff was off there, they were full at really late hours, and I was just getting beaten on at Plat and didn't have a handle on ff. Went back to that server a coupla weeks ago and went 25-3 I think. Got accused of hacking (of course) but the regulars there know me and congratulated me on being in Mmmm, which is cool.

Started playing CS back in 1999 I believe when my brother (Lunk) introduced it to me. Before that was playing TFC. Took a break from CS from September 2001 to September 2002 to play Anarchy Online. Started computer gaming way back with the Commodore 128D. A list of favorite games back then: Beach Head I & II Way of the Exploding Fist Commando Rock N Wrestle One on One: Larry Bird v. Dr. J. There are soo many, can't really name them all. Cool thing back then was that your Atari controller attached to the computer. Now most of the C64 era games are available free and can be played on PCs with emulators. Now where do I find the port to plug in the Atari controller

You can aim either of these guys using the links below their posts (or any other post they've put up). I agree with AK, AIM him about this kinda stuff. Several posts have suggested the making of an MCC montage (sp?) - a cool little video for the community on the MCC tourney. Well, there's a lot of video there to review, and it'll be a big task for whoever is considering it. With that in mind, use this post as a place to point out those precious moments Whether it be of yourself, a bud in your clan, or just a time when you really got owned or saw some great teamplay. Prolly easiest way is to use viewdemo <demoname> in console. Then hitting F2 will bring down the video menu. This will give a time in the video when the event occurs. Then just post the time and the demoname and a short blurb about what it is. Maybe even a round number and demoname with description will work. Either way, whoever makes a video of this will be appreciative.

Just ran AA at 4x and AF at 8x and the FPS on the ti4200 stayed at 98-99 using cl_showfps 1 and net_graph 5. Am I missing something?? Image quality was improved, and it flowed smoothly. I dunno. Could it be that it'll work if you have the processing power on the computer? Tested the old comp (GF2 mx400) and it did drop FPS to 50-60. EDIT: tried it with BF1942......now I see a difference

Monitors are both 17" and mice are both versions of MS Intellimouse Explorer Optical. Gotta say the best thing for playing CS has to be the Audigy; sound is just so much better thru it; even on a cheapo labtech headset. Both graphics cards put out a smooth 100 fps. Using a linksys cable/dsl router (NR401) to allow both to play at same time. If anyone could explain benchmark scores in layman's terms, it'd be appreciated.

Well it's a gaming community...... a forum for other games that people play would seem appropriate I'd like to know who else is out there playing Anarchy Online (this I'd really like to know), or Neverwinter Nights, or America's Army, or BF1942......or whatever Games are more fun when you know or kinda know who you are playing with.....so crossing over and knowing others would be kinda nice.

If this banning was last nite, then more was going on then is being said. It wasn't as if he was just banned (which, in hindsight, he should be on sight), I had kicked him for being a jerk to others. He obviously reconnected and did enough to be banned by another admin. So, it wasn't that he didn't do anything. Obviously he did enough to get kicked once, then banned when he came back. And I believe this all happened before Fatty connected, meaning Fatty never banned him. Also, please review this. You've given absolutely no information here. Save for reading some other posts, I'd have no clue what you were talking about. You're basically saying "I didn't do it; oh and sontek didn't either". Do what? I'm not trying to sound rude, but please give some info here.

And his follow up. There are ways of approaching things without going down a path like this. Everybody wants the same thing: a great community to play in.
