A few people in here were banned from a server for hacking. We went on to their forums and politely told them how it really is.

Find out if there are any internships or if you are able to volunteer. Maybe on a community project involving park rangers during events. It would help out and work with you going to school. Show that you're willing to put effort into and eventually do well in your choice, especially with your career. It'll work wonders and you'll be having fun. Don't eat the poison ivy.

They banned all of you within, I'm going to assume, one or two maps. The demo policy they have is because they really don't care about who they ban. Whoever gets banned has the option of staying banned or kissing up to them. Now, when someone tries to disagree with them they pull out the fact that it's their server. Now I ask you, how in the hell were we being immature? They say they run a fun and polite server when people who have questions or disagrees to ONE policy gets hit with badmouthing and banned. You better watch when you play in there Mav they're pretty bad dudes. I swear one of them has to think he's so bad that he wears middle finger slogans on his pullups.

I'll be damned if I'm going to let them get away with banning you for no reason, though.
