  1. That's on the recipients e-mail. The time stamp would be adjusted for his computer.
  2. I concur with .fx. On my 28" (pretty much the same as .fx's) 1920x1080 looks noticeably distorted. It was touted as "FullHD|1080P" but what I found out is that this just means it will do at least the 1080P res even though it does above that. Nothing else special about it.
  3. Not sure about panel or rebadge, but I don't need a flashy chassis for my monitor. Usually the glow from the monitor washes out the frame anyway.
  4. Yeah... my work computer wouldn't let me visit a page with "Day of the Tentacle" on it. What kind of damn world do we live in!!!
  5. boiler, have you looked at the specs? The Dell has nothing over the Samsung. Calling it "high end" seems to be diminishing the level of quality of the Samsung.
  6. Not sure about the scaling in games Laz. Ok, here's how I see those monitors. About the only real differences is that the Dell has HDMI but a Display Refresh Rate of 60Hz which really changes that 5ms response time to about 8-10ms (still not too too bad). The Samsung on the other hand, doesn't have HDMI but can do 75Hz refresh rate. If you have no need for an HDMI, then the hands down winner is the Samsung.
  7. Last I knew, Dell was just rebranded Samsungs anyway. IMO, the Samsung brand is better than Dell (links please?) and I'd go with Samsung over Dell any day.
  8. IIRC, redeyez would be one of the skinny ones sleeping in his car.
  9. Have you considered Open Office as an alternative?
  10. Meh, I didn't care for Max Payne 2 as much as I liked the original. Of course, I played 2 shortly after playing one and 2 just seemed way too short and way too much of a rehash of the original.
  11. I was referring to this particular part of your post. Robotron 2084, you have two joysticks. One moves you and one fires. It got confusing at times.
  12. Who says I haven't had my coffee?
  13. Ok, seriously...seek therapy.
